Love! I've been practicing Bikram for nine years. Since I've been traveling, I've attempted to find a studio close enough to where I was staying, but haven't been successful. This studio was a ten minute walking distance from the B&B I was staying at. Perfect!
I looked up class times, and headed over fifteen minutes early, just to be sure I had ample time to check in, and get a spot I liked. It was located in a building with a lot of parking. I paid €15 for the single class, and €2 to rent a mat. I brought my own towels with me, and am glad I did, because I don't think they rent those. I also had my own water, but think I saw some for sale.
The studio itself was very clean, and they don't have lockers, but they have an area to shower and leave your things. There's even cubbies in the practice room, in case you want to leave your valuables there, but they're only big enough to hold a small purse or a wallet and keys.
The guy was the second best instructor I've practiced with. His pace was good, and there was a first time student in class, so he explained the poses to her without holding up the pace of the dialogue. He even provided modifications to the poses, which I never knew existed, and it helped me learn something new! Although I've been practicing for a while, I am still very inflexible so I appreciated the knowledge.
I'm hoping to make it back one more time before I leave, so if you're looking for a place to practice, I highly recommend it! read more
