I drove around a little thinking doesn't this town have any liquor stores? Then I see beer lights in this house. Yes the liquor store is in a converted older house. I see Spotted Cow right away as I enter, but they had 12 packs in cans. I do not like beer in cans, so worker says they have it in bottles in a case. He walks to the back of the house/store to get it for me. I've had moon man in the past. He tells me Totally Naked beer is a lighter form of Spotted Cow so I get a 6 pack of that. My id wasn't even checked, but I'm 46. $40 later and man carries out the case to the car for me. Wow, great service. Only flaw was parking was for 4 cars in front and had to wait for this pickup to leave the entrance to lot. Luckily, no traffic behind me. Support the locals!

Everything has to be removed and on the scale. No scan one twice and call it good. Grocery store is about 9 football fields wide and no clear order. Nothing there that I came for in grocery area. Issues with debit card readers made me unload my cart and put them all back on the scale...the third time in and out of the cart, I talked to the associate and actually got them to clear me to exit the store. Wtf.

It's not the biggest make your own singles pack that I have ever seen, but it's pretty good. Lot of stuff that you will not see on the other side of the Saint Croix. Great Bourbon set, I ended up buying Calumet Farms Small Batch and the Calumet Farm 10-year-old. Great price on both. The Small Batch was outstanding, but the 10 year was my favorite. I will be back to shop the other aisles soon, but those Bourbons are now my favorite.

Back story: We just renewed our licenses to get the new special star for TSA. The Minnesota DMV stated as long as we had our voided license with the printed paper given to us with all the new license information, it would count for a temporary until we received our new licenses. We go to check out and the an older gentleman says can I see an ID? My boyfriend says sure no problem and hands him his voided license. The gentleman looks at it and back at my boyfriend then says dude are you kidding me? My boyfriend explains the whole license renewal story and how he has the paperwork from the DMV to go with it. The gentleman says this isn't valid you can fake this. He goes into a story about how he had a 19 year old come in with ONLY the paper print off and the gentlemen sold him alcohol. Since that happened with that customer he then starts accusing us of having fake IDs. We state yet again it's a legal document the DMV gave us. The gentleman states again it's not valid and tries to pull up the fake form online. Now I know every store has the right to refuse service. We would've had no problem taking our business elsewhere if this gentleman was that nervous about excepting that form of ID. But do NOT accuse us of forging government documents. That was unacceptable service. For myself and other customers I would recommend shopping at other liquor stores from now on.
