The meat is hung for 3 weeks and instead of being sold fresh, it is all frozen instead of many other farms who sell fresh and what does not sell then is frozen. You can buy here with total piece of mind knowing that you have full traceability on the products. They also sell their own potatoes what we buy per sack. They have won a number of food awards, prices are quite reasonable and staff are efficient and friendly. The farm itself is medieval and time team from TV have completed a programme what is due to be on TV Jan 2009. This is a fantastic place to shop so please go and try it. I have no problem recommended this to anyone. This place is really the bees knees as far as quality of food goes

Recently modernised and I presume taken over as there is new people working here…read more Out of the so many pizza / kebab places in Darlington I recon this is one of the best (This obviously excludes some good restraints that also do pizzas) Unlike many of the run down places in town this is all shining new and the guys who run this are very friendly and seem to appreciate your custom. Customer service is good and they don't mind explaining about the dishes or even doing something different on request. I'm not a big fan of pizzas as I think they are too stodgy unless when abroad when they are completely different being mega thin and more fresh tasting but I was surprised when I tried my better half's pizza from Kebab grill as it was not doughy underneath but was slightly crispy much better than anything else I have had from a normal pizza shop in Darlington. I watched the guys make a Calzone (folded pizza) and it really lloked good so I will be trying one next time.
