Recently modernised and I presume taken over as there is new people working here…read more Out of the so many pizza / kebab places in Darlington I recon this is one of the best (This obviously excludes some good restraints that also do pizzas) Unlike many of the run down places in town this is all shining new and the guys who run this are very friendly and seem to appreciate your custom. Customer service is good and they don't mind explaining about the dishes or even doing something different on request. I'm not a big fan of pizzas as I think they are too stodgy unless when abroad when they are completely different being mega thin and more fresh tasting but I was surprised when I tried my better half's pizza from Kebab grill as it was not doughy underneath but was slightly crispy much better than anything else I have had from a normal pizza shop in Darlington. I watched the guys make a Calzone (folded pizza) and it really lloked good so I will be trying one next time.

The food is always how it should be and is consistently good. Chips are just chips from most Chinese takeaways but they are sometimes a little sharp and not as good as some other places thou as this is the only negative point I can make shows that in general things are always good. It is a well established takeaway that seems to have a good reputation right across the area.

I've marked down by one star only because the delivery is quite expensive and they can't always give you an accurate quote because the delivery guys charge by the mile. Also, if you go to collect, the road it's on can be quite busy, so it's a bit of a nightmare getting in and out. Also, it is sometimes difficult to get through on the phone to order and at present there is no online ordering option. Don't let that put you off though - the food is well worth it!!! There's been no change of hands, and teh staff treat you like long lost friends when you walk in there. The menu hasn't changed much over the years and they don't deliver, but what they do is tasty, and cheap, and if you want something slightly different to what's on the menu they're always more than happy to oblige. I went in last week after not actually being in there for a long while and it was like I'd only been there the week before. The staff are all smiles, recognise you and make you feel welcome.

A gem of a take away, so popular they don't even advertise it…read more So polite and friendly the service is as swift as can be when they have so many orders at any one time. The classic shopping by numbers board show's a huge range of meals and the food is always piping hot when you get it home, even if like me you have a couple of miles to walk. The only disappointment I have is that they now use pre-prepared chips instead of the rough cut big chips that they used to serve but that's a minor point given the quality of the food.
