The Beauty Barn, snugly tucked away in rural Benson, is Johnston County's best-kept beauty secret!…read moreDon't let its small size fool you; it's proof that great things come in tiny packages. This custom-built, state of the art salon is super clean, bright, cheerful and home to one of North Carolina's most talented hairstylists. Amanda has been my stylist since 2004! If she moved to different salons I followed her, and am thrilled that she now owns her own salon. I'll never trust anyone else with my hair, and you shouldn't either. You will never find better customer service anywhere in this state. She treats every customer's hair as if it's her own. My hair was stubborn and contrary when I started going gray and needed color treatments. It wouldn't take brown (my natural color) or black dye, and bleaching dried it out. Amanda created a custom color-mix that turns out flawless each and every time - and without damaging it. People often stop me in public and compliment me on my one-of-a-kind red hair! Need a special 'do for your wedding or prom? Amanda will spiff you right up. Got hair somewhere you don't want it? She'll take care of that too. Beauty Barn prices can't be beat.. A big-name salon in Raleigh charged me $300 (way back in 2004!) for the same job just because I have long hair - and they're the ones who couldn't get my color right and damaged it. Thank goodness I found Amanda! If you want to rock a head of hair, long beautiful hair, shining, streaming, waxen flaxen that can fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees..... ( Sorry, just had to) - come to Beauty Barn.

He filed the sides of my nails really far in and only put 2 coats of dipping color on so it is a little see thought. The clear on top has started peeling off after a 3-4 days. He cut my finger with a tool and I showed him the shape I wanted (the shape I went in with) he totally ignored and did what he wanted which was square. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. My friend had her nails done as well. The guy didn't ask her anything he cut her long (not too long) nails really short, her nails not look they have been in a war. They are coming off and peeling like crazy. It's been less than 1 week and most of them are gone. She had her toe nail polish changed and it was $35, no pedicure just color change. It was all a disaster for us.
