A very basic hostel, with a very finnish flair. It was pretty empty when I was there, I didn't see many other guests. The staff was nice, as far as I remember.
The room was very tiny, even for a single private. There was a table sort of like a very huge window sill and a chair or two. The bed looked a bit like those you see in military movies.
WCs and showers were in the hallways they were OK, though I remember avoiding to take a shower there and only doing it when I was too drunk to notice anything around me. That might just be my fear of public/co-ed showers though. It was a single shower, not a co-ed shower.
I haven't seen any breakfast I think they might have some, but I always got my breakfast from the supermarket or somewhere else.
I have no idea about Wi-Fi or internet because I didn't bring a laptop.
The hostel is a 10-15 minute walk from the city center. Walking to the main station takes about half an hour. It's a bit far out for when you want to take a break occasionally and I'm sure there are better accommodations closer to Tampere's night life. read more
