It was actually not even edible! We sent it back. We then had to wait another half hour for our mains, we ordered vegetable dosas. We were given no explanation regarding why it was taking so long. The restaurant was not even vey busy. When the food finally arrived it was very poorly done. The pancake of the dosas was chewy and heavy and the curry was quite terrible - it was quite clearly made with flavourless frozen veg and it was very unappetising. We couldn't finish the dish. When we were about to pay we complained about the dish, but the staff insisted we pay full price for the dosas. Apparently its difficult to make this dish outside of india and we can't compare it to authentic dosas we've had. If it is so hard to make, and it is this terrible, i recommend you DO NOT serve it to paying customers. We did not have to pay for the "samosas" we sent back, but the staff would not budge on the rest of the meal. I'm really very disappointed at this place and i will neve come back. I would never recommend anyone going to eat at Indian Inn.

They had a couple of different dishes including a starting soup, chicken, beef and also sushi on the side. So variety and quality i guess was okey, but there wasnt much food left. They refilled some of it but i guess you have to go here earlier if you want the whole package. The place drew a crowd and had an inviting atmosphere. Settling in, I went with a set meal (lumpia + venison rendang + rhubarb spring rol) and a "Jamulicious" cocktail. The drink would be the highlight of the meal: an excellent mix of whiskey + whipped palm sugar + ginger + galangal + honey + lemongrass + lemon juice + flaked coconut. The lumpia was unexpectedly breaded and deep fried, filled with mushrooms. The filling lacked much flavor, though the salad on the side had a pleasant chili dressing. The other part - there's not much Indonesian about the food apart from the name. We came here for dinner since they're only open for dinner and for a la carte menu these days. A shame, since I was looking forward to trying their lunch menu that had bakso and other interesting Indonesian light dishes. Service was great and the restaurant didn't have many seats, but it has this nice vibe with it that blends Scandi minimalism with ethnic decor that supposed to enhance the Indonesian part of the dining experience. Food: Now here's where it gets interesting. We had ikan kari (fish curry) and rendang rusa (moose rendang). It's brilliant that they chose local ingredients to blend with Indonesian spices and it should have worked but the taste was way too mild, I could hardly taste much of it. Rendang rusa would have been a good match, I love rendang and I love moose, so what went wrong? I had no idea. It wasn't rendang that I tasted last night, it was some sort of älggryta to be honest. The ikan kari? Don't get me started - you don't use salmon for curry. Salmon is a fat fish and it's the kind of fish that we don't have in Indonesia, so it was wrong in the beginning. They could have used torsk/cod for that. The only dish that good was the fish perkedel, which was also strange since we never use fish in a perkedel, but it was strong and spicy as it should be. Overall verdict: The food was too mild to be called Indonesian (and I'm not even talking about the chilli spiciness, just spices in general). It was good, but it wasn't Indonesian and calling it so was some sort of a misnomer. I know that this restaurant is serving fusion food, but they did say that fusion is that they're using local ingredients combined with Indonesian spices, and unfortunately I hardly detected any Indonesian in those dishes.
