When I started taking riding lessons with Jenna this past fall, I had not been on a horse for over…read moreten years. Jenna helped me feel comfortable immediately, and I have already gained so much confidence from her approachable manner and wonderful lesson horses. Her care and love for the horses is evident in everything she does. Jenna is dedicated to her horses and students and to growing her business. I highly recommend Seven J's Farm.

Warning to Others - Do Not Book Lessons Here…read more We paid $463.50 in January to Jannak (Jenna) Vullo of Seven J's Farm for a package of 10 horseback riding lessons. After taking our money upfront, she never provided the lessons. Instead, she made excuse after excuse about not being available. Months went by (it is now August) and we still have not received the service we paid for. After repeated requests, Jenna claimed she would refund us but said she could only pay us back "in payments" -- even though we paid her in full, upfront. To date, she has not refunded us. This is unprofessional and dishonest. She took our money, failed to deliver the service, and has avoided making things right. Sadly, we now see a pattern of this being a scam operation. People need to be aware: do not trust this business with your money. If she cannot provide the service, she should not be taking payments upfront. We are pursuing all necessary steps to report this. I'm leaving this review to warn others so no one else gets taken advantage of the way we did.

I took a half hour lesson with Jessica and wrote out a check for $50. My check was changed to $65…read more I asked about this and 1st was told the price for a one hour private lesson was $65. I said I only rode for 30 minutes. So I was then told that assistance in tacking up a horse is an additional $15!! I called the owner Kristen who stated "assistance" with tacking up a horse is $65 and it IS on their web page. It is not. I am totally disgusted. Kristen was on speakerphone and my husband heard the entire conversation and could not believe her tone of voice to me. She continuously cut me off from speaking and told me I was very defensive. She then called back and said she would refund me the $15. It is not the money, but the principle that they should be totally clear on their pricing.

My daughter recently 'moved' to Full Circle Farm to follow her instructor who went to work here…read more At first, we had some reservations because the barn, riding rings, stalls, lobby and even the lounge are much more posh than we had experienced at our previous facility. We (mistakenly) thought that the boarders, staff/management, and fellow schoolers would be snobbish and exclusionary. We were pleasantly surprised to find that just because it's situated on a gorgeous hilltop location with indoor and outdoor lighted rings, immaculate stalls and superior quality school horses, that the folks here are down-to-earth and outgoing. Even the dogs are friendly! They have an exceptional IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) Team which allows Junior High and High School age riders to compete all over the state. Plus, the Farm is centrally located so it's easy to get to. For us, it's a perfect fit. If we currently owned a horse, as we have in the past, this is where we would want it to be. The animals are clean and kept busy (but not overworked). The stalls all have run outs and are solidly built to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Indicative that the mounts are happy is the fact that there is not a lot of cribbing, wall kicking and general aggressiveness. Everybody just seems to get along! 'Horse People' can be a crazy bunch, however while we're at FCF we feel very much at ease and at home, like we are welcome guests instead of an intrusive imposition. I would highly recommend this equestrian haven for any hunter/jumper enthusiast who wants tip-top care of their horse and a nice place to enjoy everything about riding. A nice advantage to their spot on a hill is that there are so few flies and wonderful views all around! UPDATE: THERE WAS RECENTLY A CHANGE IN THE OPERATION OF THE BARN. THEY HAVE DROPPED THEIR IEA PROGRAM AND DECIDED THAT THE FACILITY IS FOR HORSE OWNERS ONLY. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR OUR TEAM AND ITS SUPER COACH. MAYBE THEY WEREN'T MAKING ENOUGH MONEY FROM THE SHOWS, WHICH WERE ALWAYS WELL ATTENDED. MY QUESTION IS HOW WILL FUTURE EQUESTRIANS HONE THEIR SKILLS WITHOUT ACCESS TO QUALITY SCHOOLING? LIKE SO MANY BUSINESSES, THEIR SHORTSIGHTEDNESS WILL LEAD TO FEWER ABLE RIDERS AND THEREFORE FEWER PATRONS WHO REQUIRE BOARDING. REALLY TOO BAD THAT THEY'RE NOT LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE. WITH SUCH AN ABRUPT CHANGE IN POLICY, I WOULD SAY THAT I WOULD **NOT** TRUST MY HORSE TO BE STABLED HERE. IF THEY'RE WILLING TO JETTISON AN ENTIRE GROUP OF LOYAL CUSTOMERS IN SUCH AN OFFHAND MANNER, WHAT'S TO SAY THEY WOULDN'T ABRUPTLY CHANGE OTHER POLICIES RELATIVE TO THE WELL BEING OF THE ANIMALS IN THEIR CARE? UNTRUSTWORTHY IS THE WORD THAT COMES TO MIND HERE.
