It caters more to contractors, businesses, but also open to "regular" customers people! The only catch is you need to order ahead of time online. This is due to the current Covid restrictions which requires you to order from home improvement stores online and then pick up hours or the next day later. The Noord area is up and coming - lots of new and huge apartment buildings and hotels. This is close to the ferry in the west and right across the harbor from the main side of Amsterdam. Reminds me of Hong Kong and their northern territories. This store has a lot of parking and easy to get through from the Ij tunnel if going by car. I had to go here since the local Toolstation didn't have what I needed and they weren't able to delivery in the post (not sure why). (This should be my 500th review on here. All you need for your small fixes at home, car, bike.... and more. Personnel is very very nice and always gentle. They do speak English. And it was delicious! So of course this is my new favorite thing and I had to have one of these thingamajiggies that you slice the zuccini into spaghetti with. Where does one go to purchase such an item? Deksels of course!! This great kitchen store has every gadget you could possibly want or need in your kitchen, and scores more items you don't need but are really cool to have ;) Why not five stars? I guess the only reason would be the price. This store is pretty expensive but hey, you get what you pay for and I went home with an imported German new best friend. That's worth a lot right?

Some things seemed more expensive to me, but most are reasonably priced. Everything is neatly organized and sorted out and the customer service is great. I bought a power drill and realized when I got home that I had forgot to use a coupon that I clipped out. Went back a few days later to pick up more things and asked them if I could also do a price adjustment for the power drill I had purchased. They told me my coupon had already expired, but they had another coupon that I could use and they adjusted it for me. Saved 20% instead of 25%, but still good! I'm a happy camper. Seems like they have coupons every week.

The shop isn't to big, which makes it quite cosy in comparison with a big shop like Duikelman. Also this place has some nice glass wares and other colourful stuff which makes the look of the shop more fun. Usually I go to this place while I am shopping with someone else , and often these other persons aren't that much into cooking and more interested in fashion shops , so I'm usually no longer inside than 5 minutes.
