You can taste the freshness and fresh citrus flavor a in the green Salsa Verde. The corn tortillas used had a great corn texture and tasted fresh. The cheese and white sauce on top was the right amount in combination with the shredded grilled chicken breast, as the Salsa Verde took center stage. I am a hearty eater, so I liked the portion size, as they filled a plate that was bigger than my face to the brim with food. The rice was fluffy and fresh and flavorful, the peppers tossed in on the side gave a nice kick to the whole dish, and the homemade baked beans were tasty and smooth, and not refried. There is a smoking and NONSMOKING area which is an added bonus for a restaurant in a country where indoor public smoking is prevalent. One thing one should note is the location, as one needs to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the restaurant and the front of the restaurant is hard to make out. Joe's American Grill is right on the corner of Mánesova and Budečská, Manesova is a street north of Vinohradska and runs parallel to it. From the Metro station Muzeum, you are going to want to get out of the Metro exiting AWAY from Vaclavska Namesti, the main square and then walk up Vinohradska for 2 blocks and turn up left, heading north just over to the next street running parallel to Vinohradska for Manesova. I also had the loaded potatoes halves, something to remind me of home, per potato skins. The melted cheese and sour cream was luxuriously delicious; the combination was like a fun, gooey brie. There was a side of this citrus, sweet sauce, and again it tasted homemade and fresh, made from scratch. I polished it all off with a shot of Jack Daniels. Bottom line: Joe's American Grill has set a new bar for quality, freshness of ingredients, and tasty enchiladas in the middle of Central Europe, in Prague. Come here for tasty, quality Mexican food. I just find the place hard to find; I hope this review can help point me and others in the right direction.

The food takes forever to be served, it took more than 40 min to get my plate of chicken wings, and a friend ordered a burger that also took sooo long to be ready and when she finally got it, it was cold. I'm also under the impression that they change the ketchup, they have Heinz bottles on the table but it surely doesn't taste like it, it taste more like the cheap thing, which is cheating the customer.

A lovely little Mexican place in Regensburg. Cochinita Pibil is a typical Yucatecan dish. Normally…read moreit uses sour orange juice together with the achiote for the marinade. However, they use orange juice and vinegar. Not ideal. The tacos are house made in the traditional Mexican tortilla de maíz style. They serve chili which is so Tex-Mex. Quesadillas with Swiss cheese rather than Mexican queso cotija. Fried jalapeños are also very American. The guacamole is not very chunky and does not have your typical chunky ingredients. It's more like an avocado cream. It seems that the cuisine is more adapted to please a German/American palate rather than offering real Mexican food. Given the location I understand that. Overall for Germany a great improvement on Mexican cuisine in Germany.

My husband enjoyed it because he had lived in San Antonio so he said this was more the style he was accustomed to. He said this mexican was like that of the small mom and pop shops in Texas. Its made with real corn tortillas so it was dry to me. I had the chicken tacos with all the sauces and the chicken had almost a burnt peanut butter flavor. The guacamole was decent and my husband ordered the barbacoa which I tasted and I liked it better than my tacos. I won't go back, I am very sorry but it wasn't for me. I haven't had a decent mexican place here in quite some time.
