Totally agree the other parents reviews said this ballet studio is the worst place I've ever been…read morein. They only care about money! Every other month they will ask for extra money. If you go to competition they will ask you pay few hundred dollar for each dance costume, if you join a competition they require 4 dance, you need to pay more than 1 thousand only for the clothes. Hotel fee and application fee, a lot! all about the money! Some parties are holding in the school are mandatory you need to go. If you choose not to go, they will charge you few hundred dollar! Guys, the kids are so small, why need to go to this studio only for Competition? Don't be silly! Parents wake up! Don't waste your money!

The worst dance studio please save your money and stay away! They are money hungry and don't care…read moreabout anything except your money. When you sign up you have to pay first and last month which is June and in June you have a recital and two classes one of which is a party for the kids. They charge you for every little thing and ohhh it's CASH ONLY!!!! EVERYTHING MUST BE PAID IN CASH!!! Horrible place!! The worst thing is they don't care about the kids all they care about is the money the staff is beyond rude I regret taking my daughter here. I took my daughter out early because of the rude staff who only care about money and asked for my security deposit back which is the last month they told me NO! They are thieves!! DISGUSTING!!!!

We found this place actually through Yelp. We couldn't be more happy!…read more This gym for kids is located in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. Q train is just around the corner. Gym is in the fancy looking building. You walk in, take an elevator to the second floor and there you are. Facility has a small front desk, but 2 other rooms where the actual exercising happens are spacious. I've been bringing my daughter (who's not even four years old) to gymnastic classes for few weeks now. She's young and capable but sometimes needs some encouragement, this is where coach Ella comes in. Coach Ella is a very sweet person who loves to teach all ages. She pays attention to all girls in the group when she's teaching. She makes sure there is no girl left without supervision. She's able to walk to all girls individually and correct/help with new exercises. She expects a lot from those kiddos but at the same time she understands their limits. Classes are fun and entertaining, never saw a group bigger than 10 girl at once. Miss Ella rewards girls with points (for doing their exercise right) as well as gives them small candy at the end of the class. Price for class to pop in is $20. Gymnastic class is 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday). They offer all kinds of discounts for attending all 3 days. They also have all kids of different classes from art to karate (with other teachers). There is also annual fee of $40.

We are all hard working individuals, that try to do right by our kids…read more I decided to send my kids to this Gymnastics center and this was a total failure. The manager Ella is a nightmare. She sweet talked me into signing up my kids, promising out-standing results. Unfortunately, she is a total loser of a person. She bad-mouthed my kids to other children. She said my daughter is too fat to be a gymnast, to her other classmates. Instead of being a manager, a person of leadership, a person who can uplift a child, she had my children in tears for days due to her lack of concern for my children's future's. Ella is money-orientated, and show's favoritism towards kids that she cares about. She is a monster. Stay away and instead take the time to find a REAL gymnastic school.

However, like many, we discussed on several occasions over the years how we would like to get back to those fun years when we were dancing a couple of times every week. Well, we finally decided to stop just talking about it and to do it. Fortunately, we found Atlantic Dance Studio. After just a few short weeks into it, we were already doing the basics steps of the Rumba, Fox Trot, Waltz, Tango, and Push/Pull, and having fun dancing once again after a 40-year break. They have a very natural progressive way of teaching, and surprisingly in the following weeks we started getting into more complex moves. The group classes are also a lot of fun and the interaction with other students and instructors is a great approach to help the learning process. Atlantic ballroom offers a fun, friendly atmosphere, and a beautiful and comfortable large dance studio... private lessons are great with Ody, who is a very patient, fun, professional, and talented instructor... group classes are fun and informative... and Friday night social dance is a wonderful opportunity to practice what was learned during the week... and when you see instructor team perform dance routines, they are just incredibly talented. The owner, Sarika, is very friendly and cordial, keeps a close eye on the studio and the progress of students, and is an incredible national level pro dance performer. If you have been just thinking about taking dance lessons like my wife and I were for a couple of years, stop just daydreaming and give Atlantic Dance Studio a try. I'm sure you will find the studio, instructors, atmosphere, and best of all the experience, as enjoyable as my wife and I have found.

Great dancing school!!! They teach dance the way everything used to be taught - for ages 7 to 22 (I…read morethink) the class is 2 hours long, they have kids of different ages learning together, the smaller kids get really excited because they see the bigger kids who already dance well, the bigger kids improve faster because they get the opportunity to teach the younger ones what they learned! Kids choose music for training themselves, the main instructors supervise pretty strict but kids don't feel that they are treated in a strict way! Classes are held Monday through Friday, the fee is flat, so you don't need to worry about increasing/decreasing the amount of money for this. Kids just need to devote their time and practice. The club also performs all the time. My son is 8, and we've been to so many different activities!!! This is the first one he got very interested in!!! Really really great place! Irina
