There was a modest breakfast being served the morning I was there and it was fine. My croissant was good and that was the important thing. Staff members were friendly. Coffee was good. Restrooms are outside and down the hallway so they aren't as nicely kept as restrooms you would find within a lounge but they were okay. It was easy to get to gates from the lounge. Overall, a nice experience.

Walk a long line to get your passport stamped and be asked the questions as you walk through customs and into Switzerland, only to walk more to the baggage claim to where you stand a good while to greet your luggage many minutes after your plane has landed and you stress as you think the same thing I always think about, did my luggage actually make it on the plane? Then you breathe a sigh of relief as you walk again to the train station which is a solid walk from the baggage claim as you then take a train into town, or in my case, a train to Lausanne, and then walk again to the train and maybe have to stand on the train because you waited until the ultimate last minute to buy a ticket. At which point you almost wish you had someplace to sit down. Not the best way to greet people into a gorgeous country, but at least things do improve from there (and believe me, they do).

Another fantastic little BA lounge! While it might get busy depending on time of day and/or…read moredepending on how many passengers might be using it, the facility is great and has plenty of seating space, great variety of food and drink and is usually staffed with very friendly and kind people. There's the usual free wi-fi, charging plugs for electronic devices and a small 'quiet room'. Perhaps the only drawback I see here is the fact that the lounge doesn't have its own washroom. Not a big deal since the washroom is located immediately across the lounge's entrance but it would have been nice to have it within the lounge area. Oh, the other mine thing is that there's practically no view from the windows, as the lounge faces a terminal. I guess that the view of the beautiful Alps was reserved for Swiss airline passengers (just a guess here but it would make sense that the national airline would get the prime location within the airport). Very easy airport to navigate through, especially if you've just come from CDG, which can be a…read morenightmare to navigate if you're not used to it. We were able to get off our flight and make it to the clearly marked Uber pick-up almost immediately. This was really convenient for us as we had to be somewhere a few hours after landing. We noticed quite a few shopping and food options available in the arrivals section so I'm assuming there are a lot to choose from in departures. The airport is quite a bit away from Lyon city center but our Uber ride on a Monday at about 2pm was only 50 euro. You can also certainly make it to the city by tram much cheaper.
