I was impressed as soon as I saw her from the outside of the shop, she looks clean and I love the hairstyle. She was also very calm when we took her back and she was not reactive to the shop keeper. When we arrived to pick him up, he was out in the field playing with his new friends. This was Winslow's first time boarding, and they took care of him like it was their own dog. From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby. On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute "best dog" scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn't have asked for a better company or people to work with! They walk your dog twice a day for 30 minutes and feed them as well and it is only $18 a visit considering most pet sitter I talked to wanted over $40 a visit. They are very friendly and easy to work with. They give you updates on how you're dog is doing which is very nice, and they have been providing this service for over 5 years so you can be confident that they are professionals and know what they are doing. A few months later, our dog was wounded when another dog bit her while the new TK walker was walking her. My dog has a permanent scar on her snout from this incident. Maybe 2 months after this, we asked for some leniency on the fee when we had to cancel unexpectedly and it was past the designated cancellation time that day. To be clear, we didn't insist on that leniency, just asked the owner politely if he would waive it for us that time. He then informed us that not only would he not waive the fee, he would no longer provide any service for our family, leaving us completely high and dry for our pet care. I had previously referred lots of people to TK, but now would not do so due to the owner's unpredictable and strange interaction with us as well as the fact that my dog was injured while in their care.
