Although she was willing to have more sessions, if I wanted them, we both felt that I was in a good place and had a good handle on things, and had learned some very helpful ways of looking at situations and my emotional reaction and thoughts about them. I see the negative reviews left about the facility and simply shake my head at the ignorance. The ignorance regarding addiction and treatment. Many of the negative reviews were left by persons who aren't even qualified to speak on either subject. I am and alcoholic, I also suffer from mental health issues that many of us who suffer from substance abuse disorder have in addition to our vice(s). BelAire is the only facility, and I've been a client at several, that addresses the mind consistently. There is very little 12 step instruction, and for that I am forever grateful. 12 step programs have their place but many of us require attention to our mental health. A 12 step based treatment center would have done absolutely no good in my case. In fact, I refused to enter a 12 step based recovery center prior to finding BelAire. BelAire also offers the best aftercare I have ever experienced. In addition to aftercare, Alumni have the opportunity to download the BelAire Alumni App and actively participate in their recovery daily on a social media platform. There are daily Zoom check in's and twice weekly Zoom meetings. Christie C. who heads up the app and Alumni is absolutely amazing. She is constantly in contact with Alumni and goes to great lengths to follow up, make accommodations, and plan Alumni events such as ball games, amusement parks, open houses, bbq's, dinners, the list goes on and on. Her dedication and devotion to the Alumni is unsurpassed. Christie was an RSA when I arrived and her appointment to Alumni was well revised and definitely earned. The medical care at the facility is top notch led by Mallory C, N.P. I would like to personally mention and thank the CEO, Steve, Counselors Patricia and Deanna, Susan, the Clinical Director, Sarah, who made my admission process simple and seamless, and the RSA staff Molly, Misty, Ty, Jeremy, Brittany, CJ, Wendy, Deb, who has since been promoted, Brandon, RSA Supervisor, Nikki, and Laura. Oh and let's not forget Dennis who is not only a genuine and true friend but who works tirelessly to spread the word about how BelAire stands out from the rest of the so called recovery and treatment centers.
