Having opted for the private Kindergarten, we hate to leave and wish they would add more grade levels.

The parents are very involved with the school and the outdoor environment, is great and green . His teachers (Mrs. Gloria and Mrs. Lyeen) are wonderful. They are dedicated, passionate and intelligent. We know our son is getting individualized attention and they are allowing him to grow at his own pace (i.e., not just at the common denominator of the class). They are cultivating and developing the whole child. We are simply amazed at how much he is learning and advancing. All while becoming a compassionate and polite individual. We always feel supported as a family. They have been great throughout the enrollment process. They are always planning activities and the children are never bored. It's an efficient and well run school. We are enrolling our 3 yr old son given how much his older brother enjoys the school.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in their care for my 2 year old. He would be brought to me with a poopy diaper, dried snot on his face, extremely hungry and thirsty. They were documenting that he was eating 100% of his meals and snacks but he came home famished. They then admitted that they just mark in the computer that all the kids are 100% of their meals. They were going through 35 diapers a week and he was only there 35 hours a week. I started sending 4 diapers a day, then suddenly the same 4 diapers would come home in his bag each day. One time he came home with diapers that were not our brand. The turnover was unacceptable. They were on their 4th director in 1.5 years. The teachers came and went weekly. I never even met my son's teachers. If you wanted to talk to the teacher, you had to make an appointment and then they'd see if they could get classroom coverage for a 5 minute meeting. There was absolutely no communication with the teachers. Any communication was 3rd party through the director. When we started there we were on the 4th page of the sign in log. 3 months later, when we left we were on the 1st page. A lot of families came and went. Owner was not available as he said he would be.

These last 3 years have truly shown what a parent or caregiver should expect out of a daycare. Honestly, calling it a daycare doesn't seem adequate, this has become a family! My daughter has learned so much! Some Spanish, sign language, a devout interest in books and reading, writing, and her social skills are advanced beyond what I'd expect for a 5 year old. The preschool curriculum has been such a blessing in preparing her for Kindergarten and I have no doubt that she will be academically at or above where she needs to be. The summer camp experience has also been amazing! There were 2 or 3 field trips a week, a water day every Wednesday, themed days for dress up and decorations, ice cream trucks... For Easter and Halloween there are facility events for the kids, and at Christmas Santa and reindeer come to visit! The staff are all helpful, patient, thoughtful, supportive and as invested in your kid's development as you. It's clear that the teachers working here are in it for the right reasons. If you are considering this center for your littles I cannot recommend them highly enough! Get on the waitlist, call and check for availability... whatever it takes to get your kiddo in here is worth all the effort you may have to put into it! Any waitlist is proof of the commitment of the families attending! We're so excited to move into school but so sad to say goodbye to our YSA family.

They were nice when i called and set up an appointment for a virtual tour since they dont allow parents inside the building due to COVID concerns. I had to call them back within the hour of the appointment since they hadnt sent me the link. Turns out they were having I.T. issues and were waiting to hear back from I.T. and didnt want to call me until they heard back from them. OK. So I asked the assistant director who I spoke to if we could reschedule for the next day and she agreed. Didnt hear from them until I called back again at our appointed time the next day (Friday)and was told that the assistant director wasnt in and left a message for her. Very bad first impression for a prospective client. Especially since my son was supposed start the following Monday. I haven't heard from them since. Clearly communication with parents isnt a priority, which is especially concerning since they dont allow parents inside the building. Needless to say, my son wont be attending and neither should yours.
