I had never had acupuncture before and was a little bit apprehensive but thought I would try a more natural and traditional approach. Moime is very professional and the clinic has a calm and tranquil feel that immediately puts you at ease. The treatment room is at the back of the clinic and behind the consultation room so it is quiet and private. Moime takes the time to talk to clients to find out best treatment required. One day I arrived I had a headache, Moime said she would give me something for it as part of my treatment and by end of the session the headache was gone. I was surprised but it worked. Moime can also do acupuncture for relaxation and I've found it a more beneficial alternative to massages to relieve back tension. I definitely now believe in acupuncture and would highly recommend Moime. read more

I have previously had acupuncture many years ago and it had little effect. In January of 2013 I was suffering badly with cervical spondylitis. This gave me severe neck, shoulder pain and headaches. I was unable to have my neck touched as I was in so much pain. My GP prescribed strong pain killers- this was unfortunately all I had to look forward to was the continuation for the rest of my life - taking numerous strong painkillers every day. I passed the Hoole Acupuncture Clinic on my way home from my daughters and booked an assessment for the following week. Last ditch attempt to get some help. Moime gave me a full assessment and treatment which lasted 1.30 hours. The clinic and atmosphere was professional, efficient and relaxed. After the treatment I had the first reasonable nights sleep. I knew and expected my condition to improve slowly, but it most certainly has made my life very much improved. I also suffered badly with anxiety which was also treated. I can not thank Moime enough for helping me. My life is much less restricted and can enjoy life to the full I still continue to attend especially during the winter as it is aggravated during winter months and as always my treatment works effectively. Moime always goes the extra mile for her patients - she certainly is one in a million. I have also had numerous Korean Gua-Sha Facials . It is absolutely wonderful - a 2 hour session which leaves you totally relaxed and rejuvenated. I have noticed the wrinkles on my forehead have greatly reduced. I can strongly recommend the Hoole Acupuncture Clinic read more

Hi I thought I would do a decent review for a change as in plenty of detail, I know that's what I like to read Well I have had these stress headaches and pains in my neck and back probably due to work so thought I would try acupuncture as GP just gives me pain killers and these are fine for a while but just hide the problem and I don't want to become dependent on them Anyway I Googled 'Acupuncture in Chester Hoole' as was working in in the area and came across 'the Hoole Acupuncture clinic' so I thought I would try it others pop up also but have not tried them. This clinic is quite a small one but trendy and smart and in a really nice part of town. This is ok because it feels comfortable and professional and classy but not like you are going to pay over the odds ( I compared prices afterwards and actually it is really good value!) Parking (always an issue): the parking outside is ok and free but only for a short time (30 min) but I recommend using the parking around the corner, it is free and you can park as long as you like so I was not distracted by thinking about the car. In terms of the treatment I have to admit I was not expecting much at least for the first visit as I was really just about willing to try anything. However I have to admit I felt quite a lot better straight away. After several treatments I am not on the pain killers even and just visit from time to time when in the area just because it seems to keep me 'in the zone' and relaxed mentally. read more

History
Established in 2011.
The Hoole Acupuncture Clinic was established in Charles Street Hoole Chester in 2011 by Moime Lee and the Mayor of Chester, after a few years it needed larger premises and relocated to Faulkner Street in Hoole until 2025 when we eventually established ourselves in our own premises on 125 Hoole Lane in a terrace house opposite the playground next to Hoole CofE Primary School on Hoole Lane where we continue to serve patients across the North West. 'Hoole Acupuncture' Clinic is a registered business name and has been listed on YELP since we started and we are a well established and trusted clinic, so much so that some clinics are advertising themselves on Google Ads as 'Hoole Acupuncture' even when they are not in Hoole or called 'Hoole Acupuncture' but Google still lists them above our clinic listing on Yelp so check any clinic is where is says it is and is registered with the British Acupuncture Council for your peace of mind.
