Their reds (wine) are definitely a better selection than their white. Though they do have some decent Chablis. Their white are ok...lots of new world pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. Lots of Sauvignon Blanc but from the new world such as New Zealand. They have very little Sancerre (Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley). An ok selection of Riesling, most of it is sweet but Riesling can also be bone dry and I didn't see any of that. No Chenin Blanc either. When it comes to dessert wines, they have sweet Moscato but not really anything from a producer to brag about. They have only really expensive Port or really cheap Tawny Port. I wish and I mean WISH they would carry some Sauternes (dessert wine only made in france). They have 2 Passito wine (sweet wine from Italy) One was good Donnafugata Ben Rye which was out of my price range and the other was a Trebbiano based Vin Santo (which is also good though not as good as the other one.) I really need to talk about the service here. I REALLY REALLY REALLY think they don't know what they have. I bought a DOC Sicilian Carricante which I was expecting to pay a bit for but they only charged me 6.99 for that bottle which confused me and I double checked to make sure I picked the right one. I mean it's great that I got a good steal but that bottle should have costed me (and goes retail) for around 35-40 dollars. I know you're thinking why I'm complaining but it would be nice with a better selection and if they knew what they had but HEY if you wanna sell me 40$ bottle for 7 bucks. I'm all for it. They should learn at least basic wine terms. I did happen to buy a beautiful châteauneuf-du-pape though, and the price was right. But Please Please Please get in some Sauternes. I'm not asking for a Chateau D'Yquem (since I can't afford it anyway) but a decent well fair priced one would do just fine. That's all I'm going to say.

Me being friendly I say something to the man behind the counter like "hey, how's it going?" or something close to that. He barely glimpses at me. Ok, no biggie... I grab my bottle in like two seconds. He scans it. I enter my card & pay. I say "thanks a lot man. Take care, have a good one..." again something along those lines. Nothing. No thank you. Not a blink. Nothing. Now I understand life can be less then great. Especially now with the world the way it's been the past year, but when you run a business & someone is spending their hard earned money in your establishment a little bit of common curiosity can go a long way. I mean at least say you're welcome. I highly doubt I'll ever shop there again.

I didnt give 5 stars because I just purchase a bottle of Barefoot pink moscato wine the cashier asked me of I have my own bag I replied "no", then tells me it's 5 cents for a small brown paper bag. When I go to other liquor stores I am never charged for a brown paper bag matter of fact alot of times my items are in a plastic bag free of charge. So I paided and walked out of the store with the wine in hand and no bag.

A local liquor store that visibly appears very weary having been in existence for many years. Customer service is not entirely attentive nor enthusiastic when inquiring for specific red wines either: Chianti or Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The male staff bluntly stated upfront: "we don't have a large selection" who walked with me to show me their selection and then suddenly walked in opposite direction of me. This dude then continued to do whatever task he appears to be heavily previously engrossed at the cashier counter as it appears that a customer like myself was disrupting and disturbing his precious work. Thus, he passed and dismissed me like a unwanted animate object to his colleague to assist with my purchase. Egregiously vulgar. When sifting through their selection, it is indeed, a small selection of these Italian red wines on their shelf. Bad customer service. Customers of this business appears to be egregiously vulgar, insolent lacking etiquette and social behavior skills. As I was standing in the aisle browsing their red wine selection one dude aggressively pushed his way through me without voicing the standard courtesy "excuse me." No professional proprietary or decorum. Insolent! Casa Vinicola Ruffino, Chianti (Toscana, Pontassieve, Italy) 2016 $8.45 Splendid medium bodied, dry red. Good price. Decent wine.

And unfortunately there was one particular white they didn't have (and he knew what it was but he said most of the community wouldn't look for that) they have a pretty decent selection. At least they have champagne with champagne and Prosecco with Prosecco and don't clump all their sparkling wines under the champagne label. Also everything is separated by region / varietals which makes it great to narrow your choice down. Overall for where the store is located. Very great selection.
