Dad had "fixed" the connection and it was frozen in place to the point I wasn't strong enough to get the nut off. I had a water leak at the floor level I couldn't stop. I had to turn the water off at the curb. It was late Friday and I was at my wits end! I sent my request to him and he got back to me within 10-15 minutes! Wow, on the mainland I was used to waiting DAYS! He asked if I could take a picture of the problem so he could pick up the right replacement parts. Within 30 minutes I had an appointment for Saturday morning! My hometown has a description for that kind of thing, "Boy Howdy!" Ken met me early the next day, a Saturday mind you, and before noon he had replaced the water line, the parts inside the toilet, and even connected my device for me! Aloha Construction redid all our windows and within a few short years, they failed. After…read moreconsulting with several contractors, found out Aloha Construction took a lot of short cuts (confirmed my photos), which resulted in major leaks into the building structure, as well as inside. Windows would not stay in the correct position. Now I have to replace these. Perhaps their skills lie in other areas of construction, but not in windows.
