I had to drop in to add my name to a joint account with my husband, who had it set it up at another Chase location on S. Airport Road (he was not as happy as I was, guess he needed to come downtown). I dreaded that I'd be in bank purgatory while it all got situated but I was in and out in under 10 minutes and everything was set up perfectly. I'd been in one other time in the spring with my mom, and had the same pleasant experience. Really nice staff that proactively try to help people. Just all around high marks. *there is metered parking on Front Street, and also in the back. I do also believe there are a few Chase spots in the back (though don't quote me on that). *If you are looking for a credit card, the Chase Sapphire is AMAZING. Great rewards and double points on dining and travel. I end up with a lot of bonus cash to spend on really fun stuff like rental cars on trips to Traverse City. (ha)

I was a victim of identify theft and I discovered that someone fraudulently opened an account with…read more4Front Credit Union in my name. I called 4Front and explained the situation. I was told that their Risk Department would call me back within a day. Nothing happened. I called again and was told the same thing. Again nothing happened, Subsequently I received a statement in the mail regarding the fraudulent account. From the statement, it appears that the account is open without any restrictions. I called 4Front again (this time after hours). The representative was polite but unable to help. Apparently the account in frozen but I have no way of verifying this because only the Risk department can discuss these issues. I am frankly surprised that a department that specializes in risk management would not take a claim of identity theft seriously enough to even return a phone call. I never intended to give 4Front my business in the first place, and needless to say, I don't intend to do so in the future.

We'll I gave her personally over the phone my new number and put it in online several times. I paid my loan off in full 23,700 plus and then an additional $121.21. Only to have Brittany call me ( now remember she didn't have a good number she stated for me) she states i am still in repo until I pay the fees. I just paid over 23,700 to them and Brittany still wants to charge me additional fees. I have had nothing but a bad experience with TBA and especially with Brittany who is very unprofessional and rude. When I paid off my balance there was nothing left owed. Now there is a new balance on there. If you can get a loan somewhere else I highly recommend it

Consider: a Huntington senior financial advisor recommended investing $300k in a five-year annuity. The annuity's description created the expectation for an 8% return. It delivered 1.7%. (The S&P 500 delivered 14% during the same five-year period.) Put another way, it yielded $26k, which was $75k less than it should have. It was bad enough that Huntington recommended a loser when most investments were winners. Worse, the senior financial advisor subsequently established that he was not obliged to warn me the annuity was underperforming so badly that it would never recover. He said I was responsible for determining that. I'm a layman. During the first three years, I figured the annuity might get back on track; I didn't have the expertise to know better. (After that, the withdrawal penalty would have changed the annuity from a poor performer to a money-loser.) He's the professional: by the third year, he should have warned me the annuity had no chance of coming anywhere near its projected target. The bottom line: Huntington's financial advisors are just there to sell products. They don't track an investment's yearly results. Or if they do, but don't feel obliged to warn investors of the need to change course and suggest ways to make up for lost ground.

This is for the 5/3 bank that used to be at the Division Street. This happen to me years ago. Even…read moreone star is way too much to give! I closed one bank and got my money in the form of two bank checks. The checks were over thousand dollars. I took those checks over to the 5/3 bank to get deposited into savings/checking account. A man name Dumber or Dummar or something like that came over to me and took me into his office. He set up everything for me to open saving and checking account. He took my checks of over thousand dollars over to one of the teller to put it into my new account that was just opened. He then came back to the office and gave me a receipt for only one of the check and not the other. I kept saying he never gave me a receipt for my other check and told him the amount. This crook repeated the amount and agreed he took two checks from me. Even though he agreed he took two checks from me and only brought one receipt for the one check, he gave me a blank look and pretended not to know what I was talking about. I left the bank without other receipt. That crook took my other check and not even gave it back to me! I could not even call the cops on this bank due to freaking cops in Traverse City being so corrupt! Besides, it would be my word against the bank's. But God punished that bank by closing it down! That bank was even located next to a church! I'm glad that it closed down! The 5/3 bank at this west front street location is made of bunch of thugs too!
