Huge thanks to Susie Spratt for helping us purchase our first income property!…read more Susie is a wonderful human being, she took us under her wing as first time home buyers and made the process rather painless. She explained things so we could understand all the industry lingo and gave us good advice about how to structure our deal. She gave us a great outline of what the process would look like, and her estimation of our closing date was spot on - no muss, no fuss - even with repairs required to the property before closing. And when we objected to the mortgage paperwork that showed a charge for the appraiser to return to inspect things the seller hadn't finished on time, Susie took care of the unfair charge personally. After closing we had a hiccup with the insurance coverage (note: you might consider avoiding GEICO for homeowner's insurance), but Susie was on it! She contacted GEICO, and even though they wouldn't budge, she had a back up plan. Susie connected us with a local insurance agency that was happy to take our policy. From browsing neighborhoods to making an offer to closing, our transaction lasted a mere 56 days. Thank you, Susie, for helping us find the property we were looking for, and for making the process such a breeze!

Stephanie Shrum was a literal SAINT to work with. She went…read moreabove and beyond for my partner and I during our search for our very first home. We were buying a house from long distance (over 1,000 miles away) and couldn't look in person. But Stephanie took such good care of us by taking videos, doing walk throughs, and connecting us with all the local people we needed, that we didn't feel at a disadvantage at all. From day 1, Stephanie made us feel like her main priority (even though we know she is a busy lady). She worked diligently with us on the daily to nail down exactly what we were looking for in a home. I swear she knew what we wanted before we even did! Throughout the entire negotiation process, she had our best interest at heart and was a quick problem solver. She found us the home of our dreams, for a great price, from over 1,000 miles away and held our hands through the whole transaction. Even after it was all said and done, she has gone out of her way to help us out and make our first home buying experience (and move across the country) a delightful and smooth process. Including prepping our home so that when we walked in it was ready for a good first night's sleep. The attention to detail was unbelievable and she truly listened to our needs and exceeded every single one of our expectations. We could not recommend her enough!!! Thank you Stephanie Shrum!
