I like fragrance or more importantly, I know what I don't like so to be immersed in an experience with fragrance experts and not feel overwhelmed was a great time. We worked with Sacha who was very honest about our blends, gave good feedback, and was a good source of encouragement. You have the ability to create 3 different versions of your scent and choose what most feels like you. You can also save your scent for future use. I liked that added benefit. I am always curious as to how brands like these manage to keep their momentum as it sometimes feels like something you do once but I would definitely come again to create other products. They offer candles too as well as you can purchase premade scents. I feel like the price was very reasonable compared to other similar experiences. Definitely a must visit for a date night, girls night out, or just a relaxing end to a stressful day!

Bright black offers the perfume Workshop every Saturday from 11-5 - walk in only. We got there a little before noon, and we were able to get seated right away. The staff was super friendly and explained each part of the process. There were tons of scents to choose from to create your own perfume oil. It was $35 per person which I didn't think was bad at all! They also sell car air fresheners, lotions, and candles. Most of the fragrances of the candles have a story or meaning behind them which I thought was pretty neat! Apparently next month, they will be offering larger, alcohol based perfume workshop options. When you're done, you have the option to log your scent so that you can have it made again or even have it made into candles which is cool! I really enjoyed my visit to Bright Black and would definitely recommend visiting if in the Raleigh/Durham areas

We took a trip out to the Southpoint Mall and were glad to see that Yankee was there right as we entered. They always have items on Sale. The reason that this location is getting a 5 star review from us is not just the candles though. It was the service! Yes, you read that correctly... We were greeted as soon as we stepped in the door, as expected. We were not pestered, yet simple suggestions to different fragrance selections were made as we sampled the different selections. They also made suggestions to the best deals that were available and we ended up getting a much better selection and deal than we expected. Even after the sale, some simple tips were shared to ensure that we made the best use of the candles. If you are anything like my wife and enjoy candles around your home, stop by the Yankee Candle in Southpoint. I think you will be pleased with the experience.

We were SEPARATELY getting the buy one, get one 75 special. At first, my friend and I were doing the deal together but changed planned and this was vocalized to clerk. At the end of my checkout, I noticed my price didn't seem right. After reviewing my receipt, I noticed it was wrong. I notarized the clerk (she did not have an attitude), she wanted to fix the problem just as me. When we brought the problem to the store manager, she told me what'd the problem was and what was being refunded. At first, I don't think they were understanding what was wrong. After going back and forth, I was finally refunded. It was that my order was wrong, it was the fact the store manager was very smart with me and seem if I had annoyed her. I may be young but no one should be treated like this. I will not be returning to this Yankee Candle.
