Today I had my very first European facial ever and I loved it! I find that because it is a student working on you, they are very attentive and they are not looking at the clock all the time and really spend time on the massage part of facials, manicures, and pedicures. It is also nice to to know that you are helping the student by being there. Body Glamour needs more "models" for their students to practise on. Give them a try and help make this local company successful, you and your wallet will be so glad you did!

This experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning…read more First, I was told that the trial class would only be free if I registered, and that a $50 fee would be charged if I did not. I was asked to provide my credit card information for that purpose. Second, registration is normally completed after a trial class. I did not sign any documents after the trial. Third, although I clearly informed staff over the phone that I did not wish to enroll, they are now claiming that no such call ever took place. Fourth, my child did not attend a single class over a two-month period, and no one contacted me during that time. Fifth, I was never informed that a cancellation form was required. Despite this, my credit card was charged $313.95 in October and another $313.95 in November without my authorization. Based on these facts, I believe the billing practices are misleading and unethical. I am sharing this experience so other parents can be aware and avoid going through the same situation.

Regular updates on our phones and email, communication on events or disruptions. These owners have started sending pictures of each kid doing an activity to their parents every day's. They email the menu for the week to all the parents. Besides the new owners being great, the place was already stellar. The meals are made on-site by a chef. No chef-boy-r-dee garbage from a can like other places. The food is cooked from scratch and made fresh daily. The kids get great meals everyday. They have the chef come by each classroom once a week and the kids make their own foods as well. This is the meal plan for this Monday as an example Morning snack : rise and shine veggie hash, served with milk and fresh fruit Lunch : beef (or tofu) and broccoli stir fry, served over wild rice Afternoon snack : carrot banana flax muffins, served with veggies and dip The location is right on the highway exit so you can drop off and get directly onto to the highway. Early dropoff @ 7am pickup @5pm no extra charge. They occasionally have date nights so parents can drop off their kids and enjoy a night together (i believe they charge 10 dollars for the evening which is very reasonable) The curriculum is amazing, very focused on the kids learning new things and having a wonder to the process. The teachers all take the time to focus on your child. Teachers know your kid even if they aren't in that teachers class. Learning is very hands on. There is an emphasis on physical activity and the playground is well equipped. We were worried initially but our kid,loved it there and has been there since 1 year old till 4 years old. All the kids are very well mannered and you can see that they are taught to be gracious to each other. Great place, the cost is a bit higher but in line with what you get in return. Teachers that are engaged with your child, fresh nutritious meals, extended hours, daily updates on your phone, web cam to peek I'm on your child in the day, amazing facility, playground and a vested interest in your child's well being. The thing I found most lacking however was communication with parents. We never knew what the kids were doing at school. No photos, no newsletters, email updates, no work is ever sent home, etc. As a parent I was disappointed, and the teachers were not open to feedback and very strict about their systems. Our new Montessori is a breath of fresh air and our child is more relaxed as well. LMM is a good school but just not the right fit for us.

Our daughter has flourished during her time there, and Little Mountain's program provides a great a great academic foundation balanced across math, the alphabet/phonetic reading, language (including French), and art. Their teaching is based in Montessori, however we have found their approach to be less strict than other preschools we considered. They have a great philosophy of enabling kids to be kids, while instilling the discipline and structure of a Montessori program. Every day our daughter runs right in at drop off, excited to see her friends and teachers, and then comes home afterwards with something fantastic she's learned while there. We are confident that our daughter will be so well set up for elementary school (and beyond!) after her time at Little Mountain!
