He explained what he was doing along the way and even gave me helpful suggestions for a better setup. He came prepared with the tools and extra materials needed, including some small wood pieces that helped complete the installation properly. The work came out very clean and secure. His pricing was fair for the time and work involved, and I'm very happy with the service. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him.

And also why am I paying someone to come see a job and talk about paying them more? And secondly, they quoted me 16,600 to build a 6ft wall and doorway in my (finished) basement, and hang 4 doors (which they decided they wanted to make smaller and take apart in a pretty much finish basement.... Which is pretty obscene. I've done a lot of work in past so it's pretty high up there. Would've given zero stars if I could, but one star would only be for the gentleman who showed up (and just works for the company and doing his job) was very nice and personable and also seemed knowledgeable. And I'm sure he is not the one making this huge upcharges in work. But overall I wouldn't recommend and also felt it was weird and sneaky to charge me after the estimate 80 dollars to come to my house to talk about the job. The company should be paying their workers for their time, or have them disclose and ask for the payment when they arrive so I could have the opportunity to decline. I've heard nightmares from many people about home improvement projects, which is probably one of the reasons it took us forever to look for a contractor, but when we finally decided to bite the bullet and remodel our kitchen, we chose really well. First, Mike was amazing in terms of helping us with with a design because I have absolutely no ability to envision what something will look like when it isn't yet there. We took out 3 rooms so that we could have one large kitchen/great room. He had endless patience and had to work even harder because we're members of Direct Buy (which saved us a bundle on cabinets, lighting, furniture, cabinet hardware, etc) but we were not comfortable using their kitchen designers since they were out of state. He found us a great designer here and worked between both designers (the one we had to use from Direct Buy and the one he helped us secure) and he made everything happen. Second, and this is big, he had things arranged and then we had to postpone everything for a month so that our son could have a graduation party. Anyone else would have given us a hard time but Mike, because he's so very kind, said "of course he should have one", and he rearranged everything without a single complaint. Now, down to his work. PERFECTION!!!!! He was here EVERY moment of every day. He does a lot of the work himself, and his tireless attention to detail is nothing short of amazing. The subs he uses are also fantastic with the same devotion to detail and getting EVERYTHING right. Mike did a ton of work in our house, both indoors and out, as we decided to add some other small projects, and again, never a complaint. And, oh...THE PROJECT WAS COMPLETED ON TIME AS PROMISED. With a giant rain and wind storm coming the next day, Nancy called and actually arranged to have Gus Anax do the repair ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON so that I would not have to deal with the damage that was sure to ensue! I was amazed to have come across a company that actually cares, especially to this extent, about a potential customer! I have never before had the pleasure of such kind professionals working with me in so attentive a manner before. The repair was done, and I was able to sleep soundly through the storm rather than watching my ceiling collapse! But after reading those reviews in its entirety. My husband and I decided to give them a call for an estimate. I spoke with Joe the owner of The Paint Pro's. He was able to come out and give me an estimate that same day which was awesome. He arrived at the scheduled appointment time which is always a plus. We told him what we wanted painted but we really didn't have any colors in mind we just knew we needed a paint job. Joe suggested some colors that I would have never considered and little did we know that we would go with those suggested colors and our walls would look amazing. After the estimate the next day we decided that we wanted to go with The Paint Pro's. The price was very reasonable and if Joe feels that you don't need a wall or a room painted, he won't paint it, it not about painting more rooms to get extra money with this company. Joe had such an amazing personality. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about paint. Joe came that same day we called him and spackle the walls. The next day he arrived and began. The job was suppose to take two days. However, Joe finished everything in one day. Communication was excellent and he explained everything he was going to do and everything he was doing. Joe went above and beyond and definitely exceeded our expectations.
