Much better than going to my parents 'too big to fail bank' where it's a non-stop headache for me to withdrawl money. Each time I go in with the required I'D. and the next visit they add another hoop for me to jump through! I'm running out of I.D., fingerprints, signature on a keypad at teller station, etc. It takes them well over five miinutes to process a withdrawl for me even though I have the checkbook with me with my name on the acct and all the identification possible! During my last visit to the 'too big to fail bank' the teller had to make a phone call to corporate to make sure I could have a print out of the statement! The Gal who assisted me in the transaction had no idea what to do. I waited patiently for her to figure it out. Either she never deposited the said Credit Card issued by the Govt or she was just clueless. She had no idea what it was. Couldn't tell me how much was on it and wasn't sure what to do with it. I waited patiently and quietly while she figured it out. I was and I guess I am rather disappointed with the B/A staff at this branch. I overheard the gals talk about how rude some customers where. I think I can understand the customers frustrations. Perhaps management needs to spend some extra time with their tellers so that the customers feel valued for banking with the bank and the tellers are educated on how to function properly at what they do. I really dislike this particular branch and am a bit weary of the tellers and the education level that they are provided. Also these tellers were not young adults. So am questioning this particular Bank and their customer satisfaction.

So we called First Citizens and let them know. They said they couldn't really do anything until the charges posted and were no longer "pending." We noticed the next morning the charges were still coming fast and furious so we called again. This time the person at least canceled the cards so no one could continue these fraudulent charges. They assured us we wouldn't be liable for these charges. After 2 months of investigating, FC finally refunded us for the charges (we had to pay them in the meantime) however then they charged us back almost $400 saying they think it really was us on some of the charges. Absolutely maddening! Suffice it to say we canceled the cards and our checking account. First Citizens no longer seems to care about their customers - we now bank at Champion Credit Union. So far, so good!

I should have closed all accounts after this. I have multiple homes therefore I my state ID is not the same as when I opened an account 4 years ago which has never been a problem. I am traveling for work and needed some of my cash but I was denied at 1 of their branches. this is the exact same thing as theft. I will NEVER bank at this disgrace of a bank again!
