Once the many different "Contracts and purchase agreements" were signed, nothing but conflict. We ended up with the wrong hardwood floors (choose- Dark Walnut ended up with stained natural.) Promised a 24'x24' Maston Standard Garage, ended up with a 22'x22' garage due to an error in the paperwork. Never received lighting plans and now we are left with no lights on the outside of our Garage. We also caught a major siding error during building process that had to be corrected. Paid for Hydro-seed to all uncovered land. The bank was bulldozed because the seed was not taking and was never re-seeded as told. Now we are left with an unfinished bank right in front of our house. This has led to major water problems during heavy rains. Water is getting in behind our waterproofing seal on the east and west walls. Visible water stains can be seen inside. After exhausting all options with Maston Homes, we are left with a hill that has not been hydro seeded and an extremely WET basement. UNFORTUNATELY, the overall building experience with Maston Homes has been tremendously trying.

Contracted to buy an existing modular home from Maston Homes. The house was dismantled from office…read moresite and moved to our land and put back together. POORLY. Roof leaks, snow blew into attic, counter tops separated from walls, shower leaked. Wood floors patched together with big gaps. Roof leaks are patched with caulk. After home completed owner/builder, office manager said house "as is". Never said this before contract signed. If you do business with Maston get a contract that covers everything. Mine was an order sheet 2 pages long. Owner is arrogant, rude and foul mouthed, AFTER you sign contract and work begins. Nothing is ever his responsibility once the last check is paid. Never got any updates on home progress once foundation began. When I spoke directly to owner, he never acknowledged me while I was standing right in front of him!!!. I do not recommend this builder. They do inferior work.
