I had a very bad experience with this provider regarding a billing issue. While I was at an appt…read morefor cleaning, I asked the hygienist if I could ask the doctor one question about whether I would be a candidate for invisiline braces, but prefaced it by saying I don't need to ask if it would mean I would incur a cost for an exam, which I wasn't scheduled for that day and didn't need. The hygienist asked the receptionist who acted like she understood the question but she didn't give any response to the question. After my cleaning the receptionist guided me to meet with the doctor. I asked my question which didn't involve ANY exam or even looking in my mouth. Later I received a bill for my cleaning and I was charged an additional $150 for an exam. When I called the office manager she was very rude and said ANY meeting with the doctor constitutes an appt and I would have to pay or it would go to collections. She didn't care whatsoever that her receptionist made a mistake---there was zero customer service. Apparently it didn't matter that I asked two of her employees, one of whom, the hygienist, I had no fault with--she asked if I could ask the question without having to have an appt and be charged. But the receptionist said nothing and apparently had no culpable responsibility here and the manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I will never go back here. The only star I give is because the provider is supposed to be knowledgable. I live in Wenatchee WA not San Francisco, not sure why the review says this

So, I know…read morewhat I'm talking about when I say this Doc and his staff work on a higher level in the dentistry world. The office is very friendly and relaxed. I always try for early morning appointments and when I walk in, even though I'm looking at serious work, I get an immediate sense of welcome and "don't worry, we've got this." Dr. Fluegge figured out how to mix professionalism and high standards (check out the equipment!) with a staff group you can instantly trust. Yep, it feels like family there and I'm not kidding when I say it wouldn't be a bad place to just sit. I had delayed dental work during the worst of COVID and I worried about what to do. I'm beyond happy with this office and think of them as friends.

Wow. Cannot believe there are no reviews of this place…read more Twice before in my life (1990 in one place and 1998 in a different place) I have had dentists tell me I need an "extensive" procedure with my gums. Both times, I said "nope," went to a different dentist and was told my gums are fine. Well, guess what it happened a third time. (2020) I initially went to a DIFFERENT dentist in Wenatchee and, again, was told I needed that same "extensive" procedure with my gums. (and that particular dentist office has all positive 5 star reviews.... hmmm.....) Because of COVID I couldn't bolt from that dentist right away as it was tricky to switch dentists during that time. Then a coupon book came out, and Riverview had a coupon for either teeth whitening or a free Sonicare toothbrush. Really wasn't interested in using the coupon, but thought it was a good time to switch dentists. I'll give them a try. They were very thorough in their medical background check, had to fill out lots of papers, but it's ok. I wrote out my tale of woe about THREE TIMES getting taken advantage of by other dentists who "over reached" in procedures I "needed." Dr. Johnson did explain that gum issues are a very serious thing, but when he checked my gums, he said my issues were minor and not that alarming. But he cautioned me that I still have to be careful. VINDICATED! The staff is very nice, and they are VERY accommodating. I explained that I have a thing about bringing my own dental floss, they were ok with that. I also explained that I have to have plain pummice, I cannot handle the flavored stuff. They were ok about that. I also explained that I have issues with anesthesia and have, occasionally had minor fillings done without anesthesia. They said they could accommodate that. Dr. Johnson is very good about answering questions and being thorough with the answers. I don't like to give five stars, normally only give four, cuz to me five is PERFECT and no one is perfect, but after my previous experience with another dentist, well, I will give five stars!

I had an amazing experience with CWOFS, I can't recommend the team there enough and am very pleased…read moreby the results. Full details below. CONSULTATION: Coming from a family of men with chiseled jawlines, I had always felt pretty subconscious with a weak chin. I hated that it gave me a round baby face. I also have a pretty horrible teeth grinding habit. My dad mentioned that a sliding genioplasty might improve both and referred me to Dr. Johnson. I was comfortable through the whole process, Jeremiah laid out my options. Never once did I feel any kind of pressure to make to do anything. PROCEDURE: When I went for the procedure, the staff were very friendly and had great bedside manner. Everything went well, I went under easily and woke up on the other side. The facilities were clean and comfortable. RECOVERY: I had the procedure on a Friday, took Saturday and Sunday to recover and was able to work remotely the next week Mon-Fri. I had a bit of a lisp for the first two weeks or so because of the numbness to my lower lip. The pain actually wasn't bad, the worst part of my recovery process was the digestive side effects I experienced from the Oxy. If I could do it again, I would have avoided taking it as much as possible. My post-op with Dr. Johnson went well, he walked me through how things went and set expectations for recovery. You can tell he loves what he does and has a high level of care throughout the process. I found him thanking me almost as I was thanking him, just shows his humility and love of the craft. I was back to work the second week into the recovery process and still was a bit swollen but not enough to stay home from work. I had told people I was getting surgery but was pleasantly surprised no one noticed/asked about swelling. My lower lip and chin were pretty numb/tingly and a bit immobilized for a a month or two afterwards. I'd say it took roughly 4 months or so for everything to feel 100% normal. OUTCOME: I'm so happy that I went through with the procedure. It's been a huge confidence-booster. I've received so many compliments from family and coworkers that goes something like "You look great! Did you lose some weight?" I'll still catch a look in the mirror or in a picture and be surprised with how good my jaw looks when I would have been so self-conscious about it before. I'm so thankful to Dr. Johnson and the CWOFS team for that!
