I freaked out when my mom told me she was gonna find a cure for whatever she had by doing homeopathy.
See, my mom has tried everything. EVERYTHING. Growing up, I was also forced to try whatever new thing she was into. I've been through Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, weird massages, all those smelly teas and concoctions plus the usual and traditional Western medicine. Nothing really worked and because of that I was so skeptical when she went to this doctor.
A few days before she went, the doctor sent her a pdf which she had to fill up. I laughed so bad because the questionnaire had odd questions that asked about childhood trauma, family problems and really delved into the history and background of the patient. I dropped my mom off the next day in the clinic and went off to do my work. When I picked her up a few hours later, she had all these little bottles that had her medicine.
I did my own research when I got home. Apparently, homeopathy has been around for 200 years. And the things in those little bottles were highly diluted substances from plants, animals or minerals. Supposedly, they trigger the body to heal itself. What's interesting however is that it doesn't just heal what's wrong with your body, but it also heals you from your past somehow.
Homeopathy doesn't heal you instantly. What I appreciate about this Doctor Denise is that every day, she checks up on my mom. She's always available to be contacted by her patients. And she's genuinely interested in their health and well being. She doesn't just prescribe a medicine to you without checking to see your medical history and one medicine won't cure everyone. She really tailors it to fit your needs.
I'm not as skeptical anymore about homeopathy after seeing it work wonders and having to down a few bottles of whatever substance that was to cure an upset stomach. In fact, I'm really thinking of going back to her to get a legit check up and get healed somehow.
Note: Text or call Doctor Denise. Her clinic is at her house and I don't wanna give her address away 'cause you know, privacy. read more
