Christian is super experienced and so easy to work with. If you need an honest and thorough inspection HomeCheck is the way to go.

Christian was friendly, thorough and excellent at explaining things. He put everything into perspective for the purchase of my new home.

Christian is one of the best inspectors in the business! I'm a realtor and have worked with my fair share of inspectors. But Christian is extremely thorough, personable, and prompt. Even if a home has an inspection report, I always insist that my clients use Christian to get a second opinion because he has found issues that other inspectors have missed. As a realtor, protecting my clients is a priority, and I fully trust Christian to find anything and everything wrong with a home. 100% recommend. read more

I am late posting this, but had to make sure I did. I had Christian come out a few weeks ago because I was extremely concerned about some cracks throughout my home. I cannot say enough positive things about Christian. He is extremely skilled, honest, hardworking and very professional. Christian walked with me throughout my home and addressed every concern I had. I didn't feel rushed. Christian had a quick and very knowledgeable answer for every question I asked. He knew I was extremely stressed and he completely put my mind at ease, thank you! I only had him out to address the few cracks, but will definitely have him out again to do a complete inspection of my home. I highly recommend him. read more

Christian is incredible! He was on time, super professional, and very thorough. He explained what he was seeing throughout the inspection and included a great deal of detail in his report. I was able to file multiple service requests with the builder of my home for issues he found during his inspection. If I hadn't had him come out, I wouldn't have known why some things weren't operating as they should be! I would give him 10 stars if I could. If you need a home inspection done, look no further. Christian is the best in the business! read more

I met Christian while completing an appraisal for a home in Davis (he was completing the home inspection). Christian was extremely friendly and assisted me in locating some of the mechanical systems. I highly recommend his service! read more

I had my home inspected by Christian (he was hired by the buyer) when I was selling my house. I found his report professional, easy to read, and honest. I disagree with the 2011 review and found it bias because it was likely a Sellers's review which found things wrong with his home. If you notice all the claims were all conclusions there were no facts to back up any of the claims. After the buyer's home inspection I simply fixed the items needed repair and sold the home. No problem. Later when I purchased my new home, I used Christian to inspect the new home. I wrote this review some time later and found Christians predictions about drainage and roof leakage to be true. Thus, Christian report was on the mark. Because of the quick service, their ability to return phone calls right away for any question I had, I would definitely pick Home Check again. It sounds to me the guy in 2011 has sour grapes because Home check found things wrong with his home and the buyer was fairly warned and probable saved the buyer some money. So what if the deal was jeopardized, if I was the buyer and Home check save me from buying a piece of crap then the home inspection worked. That's why we have them. read more

We had the pleasure of using Christian for our home inspection yesterday and it was a great experience. My hard to please dad insisted on coming along to be sure the inspection was done right and he raved that it was the most efficent and impressive inspection he'd ever witnessed. The report was ready same day and my husband and I found it easy to understand and thorough. This sale/purchase experience has been a whirlwind with lots of kinks to work out, but the home inspection process couldn't have been smoother or better. If I could give him a dozen stars I would! read more

Christian did an awesome job. Was on time and walked us through the house. I will use these guys for all of my future Sacramento inspections. I wish Christian lived in San Diego so I could hire him more often. read more

First of all, Christian was referred to me by my coworker, who also had an exemplary experience with Christian. With regards to the inspection itself, Christian was incredibly thorough, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that I understood everything that we were looking at. He carefully went over each and every part of the house with me, made sure that I understood what were cosmetic issues, what were issues that I could reasonably repair myself, and what were serious issues that would require a specialist. Christian is clearly a very experienced inspector, and I will absolutely use his services again in the future! With regards to the inspection report, Christian provided me the completed report the same night that he conducted the inspection. The report was just as thorough and helpful as he was in person. It is a document that I will be using to plan out my home repairs / upgrades, so well worth the money. In summary, I would absolutely recommend Christian to anyone looking for a home inspector. read more

Again, have had another purchase- Had Christian inspect our new purchase of a single family home in West Sacramento as a rental. Christian knows his stuff- Was afraid the water piping was a type that was recalled, possibly costing thousands in repairs- With confidence, he determined the piping was not that recalled and took great photos- Fast report with attention to detail- Worth every penny and more- would give 6 stars if possible- read more

I have used Christian for over 2 years for home inspections and have been in awe of his service, personality and knowledge. His scheduling system is very easy to use and gives you an accurate price on the spot. There are 'cheaper' home inspectors out there but you get what you pay for. I personally would recommend Christian to buyers, sellers and even my family members. He truly knows his stuff! And he always goes above and beyond to answer any questions buyers may have and puts their worries at ease. read more

I found Christian on yelp. I needed a home inspection on a house my husband and I are purchasing. I set up my appointment online on his website. It was a little confusing at first and accidentally picked a time that did not work for me. I called him and he immediately responded and I was able to change the appt easily to a better time for me. On the day of inspection he arrived promptly at the appointment time. This is our first home purchase so the inspection process was new to us. Christian was very thorough at explaining things to us and answered all of our questions. He broke things down for us for what he was looking for and what we should expect and suggestion on steps to more forward. As promised the report was released the next morning. Great service! read more

Christian by far has been our savior when it comes to buying a home. He has got to be one of the most thorugh and honest people I have ever done business with. I will not buy a home unless Christian does our inspection first. read more

Christian is the best. Not only is he professional, knowledgeable, thorough, communicative, and helpful (as all of these other reviews confirm), he is a genuinely nice person who takes pride in his work. My husband and I have hired him two times now. Receiving such detailed and well-documented home inspections has made us well-informed homebuyers and he has undoubtedly saved us from a past poor-investment. We have only good things to say about Christian and we whole-heartedly recommend HomeCheck Inspections to anyone in the market. read more

Simply the best. Do yourself a favor and hire Christian. He did an extremely thorough inspection of the new house I am buying and took time to explain the issues, no matter how small. The report was issued the next day as promised. And when the seller sent him a rather rude email, Christian's response was timely, professional, and most importantly--stood by his word and report. Because of Christian, the home inspection was actually the easiest thing about my house purchase, and I feel secure moving forward. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to have had him as my inspector. Thank you! read more

Look no further, Christian is seriously top notch. As a realtor it's so important to have a home inspector you can trust. Christian is someone who knows his stuff, is thorough with his inspections and is able to communicate his findings of the home in a personable & understandable manner. I consider myself lucky to have found him (was a referral from a fellow realtor), since the piece of mind I get from knowing he is the one to inspect the home is priceless. I've used him for my own home purchase - there is no one else I would trust more. read more

We are so happy with our experience with Christian as a home inspector. He was extremely accommodating with our travel schedule (relocating from another state) and was a pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and took time to teach us about the home, prioritizing what is a "need to repair" vs. a "repair in the next 5 years" situation. He was also personable with a good sense of humor throughout our 3 hour inspection. We were referred to him and are happy we used him. Highly recommend him without hesitation to anyone in the greater Sacramento area looking to buy a home. read more

I am a realtor. Christian has done my home inspections for the past 9 years and well over 50 inspections for me. Not once have my clients complained nor argued about the findings. Christian is pleasant and has great "bedside manners" He explains his findings to my clients with expertise and in terms they understand. He takes time after the inspection to hand phone calls and offer further advice or recommendations. Christian is a true professional and with integrity. read more

When starting the process of buying a home I was referred to several inspection companies, after talking to some of them on the phone (and being unanimously underwhelmed) I decided to do my own looking and stumbled upon this yelp page for HomeCheck. I can not express how thankful I am that I went with Christian for the home inspection. Having a background in maintenance and home renovations myself I was impressed by Christian's knowledge and thorough inspection of the home. He found things that could have been a potential disaster down the road and were not disclosed by the seller. Even finding things that were missed on the pest inspection several days earlier. Not only was his inspection thorough but he was happy to walk both my wife and I through his findings as he did his inspection. He went even further above and beyond by recapping with our realtor who stopped in at the end of the inspection. I can honestly say he saved us thousands of dollars with his expertise. I never write yelp reviews and his stellar service and follow through in the days following the inspection were too impressive not to brag about. My Realtor has even decided to use HomeCheck on all of her future inspections. -Michael C. read more

They inspected my home. As a building contractor of 31 years, I am appalled that someone would act in such a manner and list items they FEEL are in need of repair. In my 31 years of building homes and obtaining home inspections, I have not seen such behavior. They had no knowlege of the local codes and requirements of the home they inspected and listed corrections that VIOLATE local codes. inept and incompetent. Using them could jeopardize YOUR sale too, either as a buyer or seller. read more

I was referred to Christian and Homecheck inspections quite a few years ago now when my old whole house inspector melted down and almost destroyed a deal for one of my buyers. I have been using him ever since. He is awesome. He is the perfect blend of professionalism, integrity and down to earth common sense that you must have in a whole house inspector. I recommend him to every buyer and every other real estate agent I come into contact with. He is an invaluable member of Team Townsend and I couldn't sell like I do without him. read more

Christian was referred to me and I can see why! He was very professional from the beginning. It was very easy to schedule my appointment. Christian showed up on time and was prepared for the inspection. He seemed to have all the tools necessary to do a quality job, and he took a lot of photos. I've seen specials for other "cheaper" home inspections, but that scares me a little. I checked around, and he was not the least expensive, but I believe that you get what you pay for, and HomeCheck Inspections is a great VALUE! Christian was worth every dollar. He did a very thorough inspection, took the time to walk me around and show me the items that I should pay attention to. He also took the time to prepare a full color photo report that detailed everything. I received the report promptly the next morning as expected I will continue to refer Christian and definitely use him the next time I purchase a home! Thank you! read more

If you want professional, reliable, and knowledgable then Christian Peragallo is your inspector! I've been a high-end top producer for 16 years and been using him the entire time. Christian takes care of business! My wife and I have been looking for homes in the Oak Park Area and most of them are close to, if not 100+ years old so having a great home inspector is critical. He does a great job of providing us with the necessary information to make a decision on if we're going to move forward or not. As great as Christian is, I hope that this upcoming Friday is that last time I see him until my next purchase, but I'm happy to refer him to friends, family and fellow Yelpers. Home inspections aren't cheap, but worth every penny when you consider the time and money that you're committing to your home purchase. read more

I have seen the work of dozens of home inspectors in my 25 years as a real estate agent and I can say without reservation that Christian Peragallo of HomeCheckInspections is among the few very best inspectors around (the other two I thought were wonderful retired). What I like about Christian's work is that he takes his time, he is very thorough, he points out EVERY problem and he does it in an informative way without condescending to his clients. He also turns out a fantastic report - very easy to read and is responsive to follow up calls and clarification. I don't know how I would do my business without him. read more

I've used other home inspection companies in the past, but none were as professional, knowledgeable, and thorough as Christian. He was on time, friendly, clean-cut and really took his time during the inspection to make sure he didn't miss anything. Afterwards he gave me a detailed report that was easy to understand. He took the worries out of buying my investment property. I would definitely recommend Home check Inspections to friends, family, and anyone else. read more

Highly recommend HomeCheck for your inspections. Christian was able to inspect my home so close to the Thanksgiving holiday. *Highly recommended* Christian did an excellent job inspecting two homes for me in Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento. He was on time, very thorough in his work and very fast in providing each detailed home inspection. Christian also welcomed my company as I followed him through the home inspection. He took the time to point out important findings, including potential issues and was helpful in sharing useful tips on how such items may be addressed. He also welcomed all of my questions and involvement, which I appreciated. This made all of the difference for me and helped me in my home purchase decisions. The pics he took were also included in the report as supporting evidence, which further reinforced his findings. This also was useful in subsequent negotiations with the seller. I was impressed by Christian's knowledge, his professionalism and how was personable and was able to explain his findings in layman terms. This helped me gain a better understanding of the general health of the home, what work was ahead for me and how I should proceed. I would definitely call Christian back again for another home inspection. Thank you Christian! read more

As a real estate agent, it is paramount to me that my buyers have the best experience possible and part of that means making sure they make educated and informed decisions. Having a knowledgeable and professional inspection professional to recommend is key to providing that buyer experience. I recommended Christian Peragallo and HomeCheck wholeheartedly and without reservation. I have had a great number of clients rely on his inspection expertise for a number of years now. I've never had anything but enthusiastic praise for his work and the quality of his reports. Christian is extremely thorough and his interactions with buyers is both professional and informative, yet with a dash of fun. He does not sugar coat his findings nor will he tell clients that the sky is falling... unless, of course, it is. Has he saved a buyer or two from making a bad decision? You bet he has. But, I also know that when it comes time to negotiate repairs and I present a HomeCheck inspection report, it's going to carry more weight and be taken more seriously than some others. In short, I know my buyers are in good hands with Christian. He helps my buyers and helps to make me look good. Who can argue with that? read more

We just finished a home inspection in Penryn with Christian earlier this week, and if you're looking for a detail-oriented home inspector, who will review all facets of the home (inside and out), will give you a great run down at the end of the home inspection of how to process all of the information and inspection, knows quality work, and has the experience and years to back his assessments - then Christian is the inspector for you. Christian also was the home inspector for our personal home purchase, nothing was rushed, he went over our concerns, walked the property with us and detailed all of his call-outs and concerns - it's apparent Christian loves what he does and he's great at what he does ... Thank you Christian ... till our next inspection (probably next week). Note as full disclosure: we always tell our clients to choose who they feel comfortable with, but if they ask our opinion who we would choose, hands down, we would choose Christian. Be sure to note his schnazzy orange kicks too ... like his work, he has a bit of an addiction. Pro tip: when getting a home inspection and you're in escrow, do NOT wait till the last minute to set an appointment - good inspectors book quickly. read more
