Homeaglow is NOT a good company in our area I wanted to reach out to someone in management and share some insight of our experience with Homeaglow, and more specifically with Steven..... We expected Steven to do our cleaning because the emails we received about who would be coming were all about Steven, but that wasn't what happened..... his sister, Lily was who came, which concerned us. Emma (management) had shared that your employees are vetted, so we could expect honesty and integrity for who was coming into our home. Steven DID come a couple hours after Lily got here, but he let her do all the "cleaning" while he sat and chatted with Lily as she cleaned.....I believe that affected how long it took her to clean, which impacted how much I would owe for your service. Before Lily even started, she approached me about hiring her directly, so we wouldn't have to go through Homeaglow!! That certainly caused red flags! Lily was verrrrry slow - we paid for six hours - it took her five hours to do the upstairs, which meant she only spent one hour on the downstairs(which is our Living space).... there were many places that she didn't get to as a result. I've cleaned my home (upstairs and downstairs) in four hours.... so she was taking her sweet time cleaning. When Lily was at the six-hour mark, she packed up her stuff to prepare for leaving. I don't want to sound petty but yall advertise that the cleaning supplies are included in your pricing.....Lily used a lot of my supplies (vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, pledge, and floor cleaning supplies). We have numerous places that she didn't clean..... While Lily was here, she took a lunch break AND smoke breaks which were part of the six hours, so I paid for that too! Lily had car troubles and asked my husband if he had any oil that she could have to help her limp to the garage. He did have some oil and let her have it. We don't mind helping when someone is in need, but she was bold about her needs. When she was checking out her ticket with Homeaglow she was concerned because "she usually gets paid right away, and she didn't understand why her hours at our house weren't paid yet". She explained her car would be repossessed if she didn't get to where she bought it from if she didn't get her payment there before closing. I wasn't sure HOW y'all pay the cleaners so I was trying to help her reach out about her payment. She ultimately presented "a way I could help her out so she wouldn't lose her car" - if I had cash money and could pay her that, then she would pay me back when yall paid her - again, pretty bold! It was expected that I would be paid back by the following Thursday, but when Thursday arrived she texted me stating "she stilllllll hadn't been paid yet"..... I would like to confirm if that's true or not - has she been paid for the cleaning of our home? Is she scamming me for $94??? I would like to keep this between Emma (management) and myself so I can get the $94 Lily owes us. There are other things that happened that cause us not to want "Steven" to clean our home again, but the above are the key points of concern. I owned my own cleaning company in Florida so I know the many obstacles when dealing with employees and how hard it is to find quality and integrity, but Steven and Lily sure didn't make us comfortable with our experience with Homeaglow. Homeaglow - A Deeply Alarming Experience Fair warning -- without question, the worst service experience I've ever had - not only with Homeaglow but with any service provider, period. This situation involved an individual named Judyanne Segel from Wai'anae, Hawai'i, who was assigned to clean our home through the Homeaglow platform. What followed was a deeply disturbing and traumatic series of events that required police intervention and has left lasting damage -- both to our home and peace of mind. From the outset, Judyanne Segel exhibited erratic and unprofessional behavior. She appeared visibly unstable and immediately began complaining about Homeaglow as a company, claiming she was underpaid, mistreated, and only used the platform to solicit private off-the-books clients. Judyanne Segel demanded $75/hour in cash for payment (in addition to what was paid to Homeaglow) and pressured us into purchasing cleaning products in advance -- one of which she left improperly, causing serious and permanent damage to our floors and a rash on our skin. Judyanne Segel openly admitted to extorting other Homeaglow clients for money, and that she didn't know how to operate basic cleaning equipment like a vacuum and acknowledged she didn't know how to treat tiny bit of mildew in a shower or use safe cleaning procedures. After canceling the appointment, she refused to leave our property, trespassed, and falsely claimed she was "still cleaning" while instead harassing, berating, and threatening. She claimed Homeaglow was tracking her and she needed to stay despite multiple threats of leaving, because she needed the money, likely for drugs. Judyanne Segel stayed in our home and on the property for hours, yelling and demanding money, making wild accusations against the company, and displaying concerning signs of mental instability. The police had to be called to remove Judyanne Segel. Even worse, Judyanne Segel filed false counterclaims with the company after the police arrived -- something clearly timed in retaliation. Her story changed repeatedly, which was documented by the responding officers who did not find her allegations credible but were still required to file a report. When we reached out to Homeaglow, we were told she had been "suspended," but upon further checking, we found Judyanne Segel's profile was still active on their website. This is deeply concerning, not just for us but for any other household that may unknowingly allow this person into their home. Despite the seriousness of the situation -- including physical trespass, property damage, and harassment -- we were told that Homeaglow's Theft & Damage Policy did not cover any of the costs. We were also not allowed to leave a review to warn other customers about Judyanne Segel. We are now left dealing with potential legal consequences and repairs to my property -- all due to the careless vetting and oversight on their platform. It is appalling that a person who has reportedly exhibited this behavior before and reported (including asking other clients for additional money) was allowed to remain active. To be clear: Judyanne Segel poses a risk to their customer base. She should be permanently removed from the platform, and Homeaglow must take serious action to implement better background checks, real-time monitoring of complaints, and more transparency in handling these types of incidents. Their customers deserve to feel safe in their own homes. I am writing this review to WARN everyone considering using Homeaglow. My experience was beyond horrific, and I want to save you the stress, damage, and potential theft I endured. I booked a cleaning service through Homeaglow and was assigned a cleaner named Jose. From the moment he arrived, red flags were flying. Firstly, he showed up with ABSOLUTELY NO CLEANING SUPPLIES! None. Zero. I had to scrounge around my house to provide him with basic cleaning solutions and cloths. The actual cleaning was a DISASTER. Jose clearly had no idea what he was doing. He managed to DAMAGE MY WOODEN FLOORS using a lot of water. They are now stained and discolored, requiring expensive professional restoration. Beyond the damage, Jose seemed generally suspicious and completely unprofessional. He appeared to have no real experience in cleaning services. But the worst part is this: HE STOLE MY EXPENSIVE WIRELESS EARPHONES! I realized they were missing a few hours after he left. My phone confirmed my worst fears - the earbuds were no longer in Bluetooth range. They were gone. I still spent several hours searching for them in the house. I immediately contacted Homeaglow, expecting them to take swift action. Instead, I was met with bureaucratic indifference. They MANDATED THAT I FILE A POLICE REPORT before they would even consider investigating. I had to spend precious time and energy navigating the police, filling out forms, and recounting this terrible experience. Finally, after jumping through all their hoops and providing the police report, what did Homeaglow do? They REFUNDED THE FEE FOR THE TERRIBLE CLEANING SERVICE! That's it! That was no consolation for the cost of the stolen earphones, the damage to my floors, and the sheer emotional distress this whole experience caused. To add insult to injury, Homeaglow REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO POST A REVIEW OF JOSE ON THEIR WEBSITE! This blatant attempt to protect their reputation at the expense of their customers is appalling. The cleaner, Jose, is still listed on their platform, free to wreak havoc on other unsuspecting homes. Even the police officer who took my report mentioned that they've received similar complaints about Homeaglow. This is clearly a systemic problem. Homeaglow DOES NOT properly vet their cleaners. I hardly know where to begin... I notice right off that any good reviews of this company, are about the cleaner and not the company. That is because the cleaner may be decent, but the company itself is horrific to say the least. Be careful, as they go under the disguise as Cozy Maids or other local cleaning companies in whatever city the hire in, and those companies will do nothing but get a bad reputation from partnering with this one. I had to wonder if some are even real, since this company has such a horrible reputation. The app is confusing. I have tried to rebook the same cleaner, and have had the company tell me the cleaner was not available, while the cleaner tells me they are. I like the way one person cleans, and the company keeps cancelling when they are supposed to clean, and auto booking me with people I don't want to clean for me. I feel like they get more pay if they book a new person, so the money comes first and customer service comes last. I have now asked a cleaner if they want to clean for me without the company because the company is terrible to deal with. So many times I have been booked for a reoccurring schedule when I never gave my permission for it to be scheduled. Strangers show up at my door and they charge me for it. This company is such a scam. I have learned that they under pay their employees by only giving the promised pay if they have repeat clients, but the company blocks them from being able to work for clients again so the company can get an extra $5 an hour. They treat their employees like dirt and most of the appointments end up cancelled. The company is supposed to give the employee a fee for cancelling, but the employee never sees any of these fees. The employee is expected to pay for all of their cleaners and transportation and receives no benefits. Yet the cleaner I really liked, did an amazing job on my home. It sparkled, and the tile was more white than I had seen it in the 4 years I have owned my home. My oven had every bit of the crust gone on the inside, and it was bad. I feel like the value of my home actually went up thanks to this cleaner. I can tell they really care about their job and use high quality cleaning materials. They had a lot of 5 star reviews. This is what had prompted me to ask them some questions, and I told them I needed their number because I was leaving the home and wanted to know it in case anything were to happen. They were really polite and wanted to use the company number, but I refused and told them that I would feel more comfortable with theirs. Through this mess, I have been able to collect a lot of information from cleaners and realize what a terrible company this is. Finally I was able to stop the reoccurring scheduling, which was difficult to figure out. Now I have one cleaner who comes regularly who is not under the umbrella of this company anymore, and I give them the $22 an hour that the original ad they were employed through said they would get paid, plus tips. I purchased a voucher over a few weeks ago as I recently had surgery and have been unable to do anything for myself thinking that it would be nice and helpful to have some assistance while I recover lol Boy was wrong! I feel like I would've gotten more for my money if I had just lit it on fire Since purchasing my six hour voucher, I've had only one cleaner accept an appointment, only to cancel it hours before as "dog was up during the night sick" finally messaging their customer service I made alterations to my appointments, leaving the appointment time open, literally from start of their day to the end of the day, hoping that somebody would be able to do something. I don't know how much more flexible I could be changing the hours just to get anybody to come here and do anything at this point- Then, after purchasing the voucher, it said that I had to put a credit card on file. I attempted to put the same card that was good enough to pay them the first time and it kept denying me doing that. I see that they attempted to charge me $166 which I blocked resulting in them canceling any future appointments I had demanding I put another card on file which I refuse to do that they are supposed to be taking. I'm so frustrated at this point I don't even know what to do, but I'm still unable to do anything. I'm not able to walk and I had done this trying to get help is turned into a bigger headache and is not at all in good order. I just want my money back because this is a bigger headache than it's worth and then I can go and pay more money to somebody who will actually come and do what they're supposed to do I will note that I do live in a smaller rural area, which may be different than those who live in a larger city. At best I often see that there's maybe one or two cleaners available and available. I mean their name comes up, but that's it. I was told that there was other cleaners and given a link that didn't work to go and apparently tried to recruit them to no avail. seems like every time I get on their dashboard it's different somehow I don't know if it just depends but they don't have an app to use unless you're a person that works for them, but I have never had any issues with technology and I have not been able to figure out how to make this system work I a business unless it's positive, but this place has gone so far below expectation I had to say something and therefore I am reviewing on every site that I possibly can because I would encourage people to find better way to use your money to pay for a voucher that you can't use read more

Update 1/11/24: Jem from Homeaglow called and said they are making changes planned to implement soon. They refunded the $49 fee I paid and released me from any further obligation. She offered a free cleaning. I declined but that was nice. It was encouraging that they are responding to customers' dissatisfaction and trying to make their service better. I hope that actually comes to fruition. In the meantime this goes a long way to improving my opinion. I am increasing my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars for two reasons: (1) this effort, and (2) my cleaner and other working thru Homeaglow don't deserve the impact bad ratings will bring. However read below and read the fine print before joining to be clear what you are signing up for! If you are still surprised with something that was not clear, write a review! ORIGINAL REVIEW: SCAM, DO NOT JOIN! Bait & Switch!! Misleading advertising! Bad biz practices!! 6 mo contract and fees, fees, fees! Gig work. Cleaners are fine but app company is shady. They reel you in with offer of $19 cleaning, but they don't tell that's only for an hour on a voucher you agree to buy and you have to sign up for $49/mo subscription (that's what I paid, but price fluctuates). Then the hours estimates are more than I've ever heard. No one has spent more than 4 hrs cleaning my house but they say 6 hrs for more than 2br/2ba house. Extra time for added services are charged at cleaner's rate - not $19/hr. THEN the switch... they say your membership at $49/mo gets you a 50% discount on "reg rates." Elsewhere it says full rate goes to cleaner. They show cleaners rate. Then they say you'll get 50% off reg rate. The reg rate is not the cleaners rate. It's the app's rate. It changes week to week. One week showed my cleaner at $27/hr. Another week it showed her rate at $50/hr. The app charges me $25/hr for a week she's posted at $27...where's the 50% off?? I get $2/hr off. THEN there is a processing fee - 15% for every cleaning which goes to Homeaglow. THEN, yes there's more... see what they're charging the week before Xmas in this pic. A "priority fee"...??? You cannot get any more vouchers after the first cleaning, so you'll never see $19/he again. $49 mo rate, $25/hr, 15% processing fee, priority fee of the hourly rate per hour when you need the cleaning the most doubling your costs. THEN, you want to cancel... oh no sorry. $198 cancellation fee. Did you notice you signed up for 6 months?? My fault for not reading the fine print. Don't fall for it like I did. I have had issues with every single cleaning I've booked or attempted to book. My first cleaner was a late cancellation, was rescheduled, and then was a no show with no response. My 2nd cleaner showed up 5 hours late. Her cleaning was so poor, I had to clean up after her with the messes she left. It was clear this person did not have experience cleaning homes, although her profile touts a 4.9 "highly recommended" rating. She took several smoke breaks, which wouldn't have been much of an issue, except that my five year old was outside playing and walked up to talk with her, she continued smoking in my child's presence, and all cigarette butts from the breaks were left in my yard. My third booking was not completed due to the cleaner late cancelling. Upon creating my account for my first booking, I chose the Forever Clean plan as I had every intention to use the service at least bi-weekly, if not weekly. I was aware there would be a penalty for revoking the plan prior to six months, however, I had no idea it would be this difficult to obtain services. As I have not been able to secure bookings without cancellations or issues, I finally reached out to Homeaglow requesting release from Forever Clean without penalty. It was denied and I was reminded that I left a good review for the one cleaning referenced above. Homeaglow makes it clear that the cleaner will see your review. Please put yourself in the home owner's shoes. The cleaner believes she provides a cleaning service worthy of a good rating, requests 5 stars, expresses how imperative it is to receive a 5-star rating as well as informing you that she is building her own cleaning service, and texts you requesting to be your sole cleaner. This cleaner now knows where you live. She has been in your home for three hours, met your children, and knows their names. This cleaner will be aware of the rating you leave. What choice does that leave the homeowner? For pure safety reasons, I left the positive rating that the cleaner would have access to see, and then I immediately followed the steps to the information the cleaner would NOT see, stating that I did not wish her to return as my cleaner nor was I satisfied. I was, at that point, issued a partial credit on my account for a future cleaning (which is unused due to cleaner cancellations). Homeaglow maintains that I am unable to be released from the Forever Clean plan without being charged $320.57. I have no faith in finding reliable cleaning services with this company. Overview: HOMEAGLOW has created new cleaning appointments on my account TWICE without my authorization or knowledge, and AFTER I had already cancelled the subscription service. HOMEAGLOW has also charged me $110 for a subscription after they sent a cleaner to my home without my authorization, permission, knowledge, awareness - whatever you want to call it. And they're getting away with it - my credit company has deemed it to be an authorized charge and have no interest in hearing anything more about it. Here is my story: I tried it for a couple of months, paid the subscription fee plus the min 2 hour fee for cleaning (3 rooms -kitchen, living room, bathroom- in a small apartment). Ended up cancelling the subscription early (Apr 9, 2024) and paying $86 fee to do so. On 5/2/2024, I received notice of new activity in my Homeaglow account, a chat with my previous cleaner and scheduling an appointment for 5/9/2024 11am. However, I DID NOT schedule this appointment, I wasn't active on the system anymore since I cancelled the month prior, and I didn't go on the site to make the 5/9 appointment. And no one else I know has access to this account. On 11/21/2024, over 6 months after cancelling, a female showed up at my doorstep looking to clean, she was from Homeaglow. When I checked online at my account, I see an appointment was made by someone. Again, NOT ME. Unfortunately for me and my wanting to help other people, I let her in to clean. She seemed like she could use some extra money, and this was the only reason I let her in to clean. I paid her for her time comparably+ to what the Homeaglow app was requesting, plus a nice tip directly out of my own pocket into her venmo account. As soon as she was done, Homeaglow charged me $110 for a subscription. I mean the very SECOND she was done. I disputed through my credit card, but they somehow deemed the transaction was authorized. I tried to appeal, but I'm stuck giving this dishonest fraudulent company $110 for absolutely nothing. My account is still closed - I'm not opening it back up, and even if I use the service, I still have to pay a cleaner hourly for the same rate I'd pay a cleaner directly. I have requested three times now since 11/21/24, for them to contact me (through their contact page - I can't find ANY other contact information for them other than a physical address to a building that leases to different companies), and I have yet to hear a peep. read more

Further Insights: After Homeaglow's response, I learned additional troubling information from Tiffany, the cleaner assigned to my appointment. According to her, the issues I experienced are part of a larger pattern of systemic errors within Homeaglow's platform. These errors not only affect customers by causing unexpected cancellations and scheduling mishaps but also impact cleaners. Cleaners face frequent account deactivations and miscommunications, which are out of their control. Moreover, the action taken by Homeaglow to block Tiffany from future requests, as mentioned in their response to me, now seems unjust. this company is horrible and the customer service is worse , if you can even call it customer service. Its next to impossible to get in contact with someone and when you finally do its a joke. They know they are scamming people so that's probably why. Like most people we signed up for the $19 voucher then started get charged monthly. They make it look like you can use the voucher and if you want to continue, then they will charge you the $49. We planned ononly doing a total of three cleanings because we would be moving. There is NOTHING about the huge cancellation fee. When we purchased our voucher, it looked like you would use your voucher for your first cleaning and if you wanted additional cleanings, then you would pay the $49 a month so we were a little surprised when they automatically started charging us, but figured we would just cancel after the other two cleanings . they purposely don't provide much information when you're checking out. Even after I purchased I went to my email to review everything they don't even send you a basic invoice with basic information about your " subscription " . It's just an email saying " you have a cleaning voucher to use . They Send you tons of reminders because as soon as you use your voucher for your first cleaning, that's when they start your membership.it's obvious every thing they do is to scam you. We used the voucher for the first cleaning after that it was impossible to actually get a cleaner . We would schedule and the cleaner would either cancel or reschedule to a completely different day without us confirming. So even though we had been charged multiple times and only ended up with one cleaning we just wanted cut our losses and cancel. When a customer service person finally got back to me. They said it would be about $150 to cancel. But if I didn't cancel for my inconvenience, she would help me schedule a cleaning directly through her. What a joke. I know this might be a bit confusing because I'm trying to explain a lot, but just understand these people will scam you!!!! I seriously hope nobody else makes this mistake. The lack of communication and transparency left me feeling like my boundaries weren't respected. The cleaning itself was rushed and not thorough. There were loud noises throughout the house, and I noticed the helper going through my personal belongings. At one point, I even saw a minor issue with the floorboard, which only added to my frustration. Overall, the cleaning was far below the basic standard I was expecting. I scheduled weekly cleanings starting on 7/11/23. 7/11/23 - this was the date that my first cleaning was to take place but Lois called me the day prior to cancel. She said her flight had been cancelled and she was stuck in NY. However, instead of cancelling the appointment in the system, Lois rescheduled the appointment which made me double booked for the next week. On July 18, 2023 12PM MST, Lois actually showed up and I got my first cleaning with Lois & your ForeverClean Membership started. 7/24/23 - a customer service rep called me to fix the double book issue. 7/24/23 - received automated reminder that Donna accepted my appointment for 7/26/23 at 10am. 7/25/23 - received automated reminder that Donna accepted my appointment for 7/26/23. She also replied to the text that she would be there. 7/26/23 - Donna never showed up, texted, or called. I received a text that my cleaning had been rescheduled (without me requesting it) and Ginger accepted my cleaning request for 7/27/23 at 8:30. 7/26/23 - Ginger never showed up, texted, or called. The cleaning was rescheduled (without anyone contacting me to confirm the time was good) for 2 pm and that Paulette would be the cleaner. At 2:59, Paulette called me to say she was supposed to get off at 1 and would not be coming. I texted and emailed customer service several times to request cancellation. The representative I spoke with was professional and understanding, and I felt genuinely heard. They canceled my ForeverClean membership immediately and waived the remaining commitment terms. They also issued four refunds of $49 each for the monthly membership fees, which will be processed back to my original payment method. While my initial experience was frustrating, I'm grateful for the resolution and for the effort made to correct the situation. I appreciate that they took responsibility and worked with me to make it right. ------ Predatory Policies + No-Show Cleaners = Do Not Use I booked a cleaning through Homeaglow for an important event. The cleaner assigned (William) confirmed a 7-hour cleaning on 11/5 at 9:00 AM. At 8:30 AM--that's thirty minutes before the appointment--he asked to come later. When I asked how much later, he did not reply for hours, and eventually said 2:00 PM. We rescheduled for 11/7 at 10:00 AM, and he simply never showed up. No message. No apology. Nothing. This kind of unreliability would be frustrating on its own, but Homeaglow makes it significantly worse. There is no customer service phone number, no real support, and no immediate way to resolve issues. I couldn't even cancel the appointment without being hit with a $40 fee, despite the cleaner being the one who failed to show up. To make matters even more concerning, Homeaglow locks you into a $50/month membership, and if you want to cancel before 6 months, they charge a $150 cancellation penalty. I would recommend Annette to anyone that has PTSD or social anxiety or anything like that because she will not do anything to make matters worse. She is a very sweet, very laid back, non-judgmental and I don't want to sound like an overly obsessive, psychotic, kook with the way I'm describing her, but I'm very happy and relieved that I could actually have someone I don't know in my home without my PTSD & social anxiety getting triggered. Like, it is BAD. I hide in my place 90% of the time because I'm just afraid of people and am afraid of going outside and if I don't have to, I won't. I hate that I constantly feel judged or that I am scared of people to the point where I have stress induced seizures from my social anxiety & usually feel like I'm in the way or a burden so for her to make me feel confident, comfortable & relaxed enough to believe that there are some people in the world that aren't scary, selfish, self-serving leaches is incredible and not an easy task to do. I really appreciated how hard working she is, how she takes her job seriously, how nice she was to my little baby kitten (he's a rescue so he's like me, very scared & hisses at most people but he just followed her around & wanted to play with her the whole time she was here, it was too cute) and even with him being a lil distracting, nosy, constantly trying to steal her attention away from what she was trying to accomplish, she just continued to help me with everything without being mean or getting annoyed with me or the kitten not even once. We are former Homejoy customers (had one cleaning through them - did not repeat through no fault of theirs - I just wasn't comfortable with a stranger in my house). My wife and I poured over the reviews, and noticed a wide range of them for the rebooted company, Homeaglow, and decided to give it another try as the reviews local to our area (San Jose, CA) seemed reasonable. We selected Teresa (https://homeaglow.com/teresadi) as our cleaner. Booking: After several back-and-forth texts with Teresa, we settled on a time that worked for both of us. It took so long because I have heightened browser security that made the scheduling calendar not fully work. In the end, I ended up with a date that was 1 day after the day I had originally wanted, and we settled on that time about 4 days before - plenty of lead time, in my opinion. Cleaning experience: Teresa showed up on time, brought all the tools and supplies she needed to clean, and even did a walkthrough with us to determine what we felt was most important to get done. For us, it was our master bathroom, which was in need of some very, very, deep cleaning. Teresa got in there and did a wonderful job, leaving us with a very clean bathroom (she even used a drill mounted scouring pad to clean the neglected grout - over, and above). She also managed to leave herself enough time to do a normal cleaning of the rest of the house (4 rooms + 1 guest bath). We'll be having her back. 01-07-2017 Update: Another great cleaning by Teresa. Arrived early, and got right to work. I have never really written a "review," but I can keep quiet on this person. Jaime was to the minute, on time, and kept in touch with me on her current progress without me needing to request it. On her way here and any preference options during her work. She made sure she knew the details of every small and large element I was looking to eliminate or change. I never felt like I was asking too much. Jaime is a challenge tackler an d seems determined to win. To be honest, I keep (most of) my house clean as I have time for. Even though most of my house needed tidying, one bathroom looked like Chernobyl! I was scared and too unskilled even to approach it. I feared her reaction, but she took it on like no situation was too burdensome. She understood the significance (especially to me) but had no fear. She went in to transform that area FIRST. She didn't react d ifferently than she would to any other bathroom. She saw she needed unexpected (POSSIBLY INDUSTRIAL LEVEL) supplies, not surprising. She said, "I'll be right back." She ran up to the store and was back in 5 minutes. She made me feel like my challenge was hers and wanted to leave me feeling like my house was "cared for" and shiny new. Of course, with guests, I took all the credit! In the end, I have to tell the truth. Also, when anyone asks if I know of a good home cleaner, I brag about Jaime! She will be the ONLY housekeeper I'll ever use! She left me feeling like my house was easy, and she was happy to do it. I cannot stress enough to anyone reading this that you are dealing with a BAIT AND SWITCH company that does does not hesitate to practice unscrupulous business morals. In my case, I did understand from the beginning that I was signing up for a membership, no problem. My personal experience with their cleaners was horrible. Everything from cleaners who canceled, rescheduled, rescheduled again, canceled, and even no showed. My main complaint is about an email I received that with my monthly membership, they were offering me a free cleaning for a friend/family member. Of course I understand this was an effort to drum up more business. However, when I signed my father up for the free cleaning, I did NOT sign him up for a membership. It was simply for a free cleaning. Upon checking my charges, unfortunately 2 months later, I found out I was being double charged not only for my membership, but also one they set up for him. I contacted the company, they insisted that I knew I signed him up for membership, they even sent me their generic "steps to signup for the program" to try to make it sound like I went through those steps for him as well, which I did not! They have already gotten an extra 2 months of $50 out of me for his fraudulent membership, which he received nothing for, and I asked them repeatedly to simply cancel his membership based on their bait and switch practices. They have offered reduced membership fees for him, but have refused to cancel this membership I never signed him up for. And it is infuriating their rep Emma says "there's just nothing more they can do" and of course we all know if they cared at all about decent customer practices, they certainly can cancel this membership. read more
