I took the city flight, a round trip from the Albany base that took in all the major sights around the city. You really get a bird's eye view of the Sky Tower, Eden Park, the Waitemata Harbour and all the volcanic peaks dotted around the city. The pilot's input is great and you are made to feel at ease, should it be your first time in a bird. I've been fortunate enough to fly in several different helicopters, and the Eurocopter operated by Heletranz is a luxurious experience with good views for all the occupants. At about $200 a person, it is not cheap, but the experience is forever. You get value for your money, as the trip seems longer than you expect, and you are left with numerous photo opportunities of our beautiful city.

He told me to have a seat after asking for my voucher then one of the women who were chatting away came over and told me that I would have to pay another $40 dollars as my hair was long and thick. The voucher included a cut so was surprised she didn't ask want hair style I wanted before demanding I paid another $40 dollars!! I was surprised that it would be another $40 dollars as that's a lot extra. Other hair salons haven't charged me that much for having longer hair! I explained that I wanted it cut shorter so she said she would only charge me $30 extra. I was the only customer in the shop. The whole time the owners spoke in their own language. (Middle Eastern owners) and didn't knowledge me at all! Very rude! They haven't matched my hair colour correctly, it's much darker than I expected and the cut is terrible. It looks like it's been hacked. And to top it off, i had hair colour all over my forehead. They did try and scrub it off; my skin was burning when i left. I got home and had hair colour in my ears and my forehead was burning!! Will never go back, and have told everyone i know how horrible the place is. I'm feeling very disappointed. I will need to go to another salon to get my hair re cut and re do my hair colour. I have asked for a refund however they wont give me one and said I can go back to the salon. I don't want to have anyone at that place touch my hair. PLease don't go here. Terrible cut, colour and service.

His business is going under, and he's living in the garage at the back of his neighbors truck lot. Too bad, I think he did well for awhile but now he's headed out of business and is just taking whatever he can. Fortunately I used my credit card so I can dispute the extra charge, but I feel bad for all the folks that use EFTPOS or other debit cards and will be out their money. Stay away!

Although it was long, it was so much fun. We got the opportunity to visit an award-winning olive oil mill, followed by three vineyards! Stop 1: Rangihoua Estate Stop 2: Batch Stop 3: Peacock Sky Vineyard Stop 4: Mudbrick Vineyard The tour guide we had was fantastic. He was very funny and knowledgeable. During the shuttle ride he would be explaining to us where we are driving and the history behind it the are and vineyards that surround it.
