After looking at the rooms they had, I immediately cancelled my other reservation and made a reservation here. When I entered, I was greeted warmly. I was shown my room (I reserved the Cottage room). The room was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Geri explained how breakfast worked: you pick from a small menu of what you want and how many of certain things you want. It ranges from various juice, yogurt, parfait, hard boiled egg among other things. You can pick what time the breakfast is delivered to your room (between 7:30 - 10 am). The breakfast is delicious. This is one of my favorite bed & breakfasts - I will definitely be back here again!

It's also one of those types of rooms that doesn't have a sink in the bathroom--the sink is in the main room, so I guess if you're using it for cooking it's a dual-duty sink. There are some picnic tables--quite a few, actually--which is helpful since there's not much space to eat in the room if you have more than a couple people. It's very close to the main shopping area of Fish Creek, only a mile or two, but far enough away that you aren't right in the middle of the excitement.

Michele is a fabulous host eager to share her knowledge and recommendations of things to see and do in Door County, and she also prepared us yummy breakfasts that were so filling, we were able to skip lunch. A stay here is like a nostalgic return to summer camp, both indoors and out. There's a porch for sipping beverages, a garden to explore, and a waterfall pond. The antique-filled guest rooms are delightful with interesting nooks and crannies. The main floor suite occupies one wing of the house. We've also stayed in the upstairs suite, which gives you the run of the entire floor. Guest rooms offer privacy and include TV (satellite), Wi-Fi, fridge, coffee maker, and snacks. The queen-size beds are very comfortable. Guest rooms also have individually-controlled heat and AC. We've been here many times and always look forward to returning!

The rooms are usually suites with separate bedrooms and a pull out sofa and they each have a little private balcony for outdoor seating. They also have a heated indoor pool with a hot tub and nice sized common area with a warm fire and all day coffee. No breakfast, but there are a lot of nearby restaurants, and you can make your own right inside the room. I would highly recommend this hotel for any of your Door County trips for your whole family, or a nice romantic getaway for you and your sweetie!

We got a "deluxe" queen…read morebed room and the room comes with a small kitchen, a dining table, and a living area (with a sofa sleeper) and so their rooms are actually more like a small 1 bedroom condominium. It would be a particularly nice place for a small family. They have both an indoor and an outdoor pool, not that that was important to us. We booked this place as we made last minute plans to visit Door County with a Saturday night stay and it was the only decent place still available with Chase travel reward points. The room was priced at $317 per night which is about $258 in Chase point value, so it seemed to be on the pricey side. However I think it was also reasonable for a last minute summer weekend booking, so I have no real complaints. They have a great location being right off Highway 42 and close to both Fish Creek and Ephraim town centers. I finally remembered to bring my own pillow and that made a big positive difference in my Door County sleep quality. I'll go with a 3 star ok rating given the average value aspect for a couple. There also is only coffee and hot tea available in the morning here, no in-house breakfast options, and no complimentary bottled water, so it's on the no-frills side here.

We had a gigantic jetted tub in our room. Ten minutes in there helped me sleep better at night. A full, hot breakfast is served in a basket left at your door so you can enjoy it in the peacefulness of your own room. I very much appreciated not having to eat with other guests, and we had a lovely sunroom for enjoying meals. There is ample street parking and a free city lot across the street. Once we checked in, every place we visited in town was within a 3-4 block radius, so we walked everywhere. We loved it and would definitely book here again on a future trip to Door County.

The view is great from the common area and rooms and it is a good location. However, there are many cons that make me really consider not coming back especially after this recent trip. The plates were filthy, literally had old food smears on them. The photos don't show the true filth. The room and appliances are not only dated but dirty. The coffee machine was filthy and they only gave one pack of coffee when we stayed multiple days. Coffee filters were not easy to find. I would not be surprised if things are not sanitized between guests. The paper towel is always left at the end of the roll upon arrival with no replacements . Also no room accommodations that I know of, no daily cleaning like other hotels let alone this being a "resort". Also there will be only one extra toilet paper roll if you're lucky. Outdoor pools are not in operation often and drained. The connected restaurant always takes forever to get your food and very hard to even get a water refill. The blinds are extremely difficult to operate to see the view you paid for and the balcony has carpet which is not clean. Trying to get to the patio is difficult as they have long blinds that will not open well and will often fall off. The shower is awful, dirty and low pressure. They do not replace towels unless you call and I discovered a "guest services" charge that I am going tk call about. The front desk staff is never welcoming or approachable anytime I have gone. Very disappointing.
