I still had another garment with them and when i went to pick it up i just didn't have the damaged garment with me. I never refused, he's lying. I said i needed to understand the process and what they would do (I'm nervous about it getting further damage) but he kept repeating that i refused to bring it back which never was the case. When i spoke to him he referred to using other chemicals to determine the cause of the issue and I'm not necessarily keen on them doing stuff i don't understand at this point. He wanted to overtalk me and not listen. Thats why i don't feel comfortable anymore. Why wouldn't i bring it back if that's how i get made whole? He's not making sense. I feel completely let down by these guys after using them exclusively for at least 4 years. They didn't call me back for 2 weeks after damaging a very expensive garment, insinuated that I'm making it up, and accused me of refusing to bring it back. I would've had no problem doing so had i understood the process/remedy but i don't really want them messing up my stuff even more. When talking to Brett about my apprehensions , he was very dismissive and unprofessional. He even stopped listening and it turned into a confrontation bc he would laugh at me while I'm talking as if my situation is funny. I don't feel comfortable working with him/them anymore. Since he said he doesn't care about my review, here it is.

Home PC Support is, hands down, the BEST computer repair company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Richard was awesome! I took a computer that another local company told me they could not fix and referred me to Apple repair. Because of COVID, no Apple stores in my area were open. So, I called Home PC and Richard told me to bring it in for a FREE analysis. Even Apple charges about $400 for that. In less than 1/2 hour, he had fixed it and only charged me $32!!! So, I brought in 3 other computers. He was able to fix 2 of the 3 for $130 out the door!!!! Mind you, I had taken 2 of the computers to Apple repair. They told me one could not be fixed without completely replacing the logic board, which the price was astronomical, almost could buy a new computer with what they were charging, still had to pay for analytics. The other computer they claimed they could fix for a hefty fee, just for a broken screen! I opted to not do it, still charged a fee for them looking at it. Apple repair in Raleigh are substandard, NEVER take your computer to them. They will try to charge you an arm and a leg for nothing! Home PC Support, a Veteran owned business, which is another reason I support them, is fair, honest and competant. I will NEVER take my computers to anyone else as long as they are in business, which I hope is my lifetime! read more

As a new customer, I was directed to this business by appreciative customers and after reading the excellent reviews. My experiences with them have been outstanding. They are knowledgeable, efficient, cooperative, and sympathetic with those who are not fluent in computer terms. Their efforts in the shop and in my home have solved every problem and answered every question with great patience and skill. Now, when I have a problem, it isn't necessary for me to make futile attempts to "fix it myself", making it worse and wasting time and energy. They're great assets to our community - we're so fortunate that they chose to live and pursue their post-military careers among us. read more

I am lost in the big box stores or with online pc support, I do not have the vocabulary or knowledge to follow a lot of their instructions. Parker immediately repaired my laptop when he learned I was from out of town and needed it to do my social media and website work while here. It was all I had and I was losing valuable time. The website was not updated but a note on the door said they were closed. That was issue #1 with unprofessionalism. My second issue was that Silver Knight sends warrantied laptops back to the factory. Silver Knight cannot perform warrantied services on MSI equipment they sell. The problem was a day 1 issue with a RAM bank. MSI in the process of diagnosing a simple RAM issue wiped my disk clean. Basically, I brought a computer I purchased there for warrantied service and it was returned to me completely useless. I have been going through a laborious process to return the computer to a minimal level of usefulness. I would not purchase MSI computers and I would not recommend them for IT support.

First open sign was on but door locked, soon as I pulled the locked door the young man came out and unlocked the door along with a lady who was behind me, the young man looked at the phone and told me if I knew the age of the phone and said it was five years old. The store phone was ringing off the hook and the associate was not thrilled at all. The lady behind me said you need more help or someone to answer the phone, he replied "the boss is a cheap ass" that put à damper on things, then he told me there was nothing to do and to buy a new phone as it's cheaper than the replacement. 150 for the repair is cheaper than a 500 dollar new phone, Yeah.. time to leave... The last time I was in that location for a broken screen there was no issue the older gentleman who was there was great friendly and very helpful and taken the time to replaced the screen. After returned home I searched Google there was a work around the power button and I got the phone to reboot. The strange part it work around was posted by ifix posts. Lesson learned, don't go on the weekend. Cheers ** Update for 5/9/26** Went to west Fayetteville location to have CPU swap on phone, gentleman working was great, he knows his craft and very dedicated and loyal employee. I understand why the gentleman at the Skibo location was upset mostly due to mismanagement by the owner of the Cumberland county location's and not knowing if their locations will close due to mismanagement. The gentleman repaired my phone in 30 mins and there was no missing information or problems with any part of my phone. The handful of employees left working these locations are very dedicated to their craft and to the brand. Management a different story. Good luck moving forward to these employees! Cheers!

Okay, this is about the same repair from the previous review. No, the iPad didn't break again. But…read morethe screen... Yeah, Touch ID still doesn't work. I always get a message saying "Unable to activate Touch ID on this iPad." though I've gotten used to no Touch ID at this point. The real problem, though. Sometimes, three fourths of the screen just stops working when I plug it in. It stays AFTER you unplug it too. The only way to fix it? Reboot it while it's unplugged. Then it will work until you plug it back in. If you reboot it while it's plugged in? Screen doesn't work again. It only works if you reboot it while it's unplugged. One thing to note, though. You can use the whole screen, but the part that won't work you have to press down on the screen hard. This is not worth losing Touch ID and having a broken screen.
