He refused to show me the apartment upon signing any lease saying it was occupied by tenants and showed me another unit which was largely in part the reason it was in the condition it was in upon arrival. You will be very sorry you moved here. Update: 7 months living in this place and I get very little to no sleep. The upstairs neighbors have had the police called on them 7 times and nothing is ever done about it. Kids run and scream all through the night shaking the walls. I can't even have pictures on the walls because they fall down. We have had no manager as the last one quit several months ago and no rules are being enforced in the building. If a sign was ever put up about anything someone will write something disrespectful such as "pick your battles on it". There has to be a reason why no manager has lasted longer than a year at this place! People are moving out all the time and very disrespectful people are moving in. I can't say strongly enough you do not want to live here.

But seriously, step away and look elsewhere. We lived in Meadowridge and it.was.horrible. Instead of droning on and on about why we hated it so much, I'll just list my issues below... - Not Clean: our first floor apartment had a lot of bugs. I'm a clean person - nearly obsessive with the cleaning - so to know that there were bugs coming through the garage ceiling into our apartment made me lose my mind a bit. - Baby Mice: You aren't allowed to have bird feeders for good reason - the people below you then have baby mice all over their porch. Thanks dude above us. - Useless Staff: Our final neighbor upstairs was a single grandpa who would host his kids every weekend. I mean, every weekend. Our complaints about the incessant pounding was avoided by the staff ... so we just had to suffer - Poor Development: The ceiling leaked on occasion from the bathroom upstairs; staff didn't want to fix - Chipmunk Infestation: Yeah, you read right. The piece de resistance. We had chipmunks in our apartment. Not only one chipmunk ... multiples. Of course makes for a good story now, but at the time it was ridiculous. Turns out there was a hole in the apartment floor that lead outside. Instead of stuffing it full of some wires, the apartment complex just put carpet over it. Shotty work = chipmunks in.your.apartment So, not trying to be a total Debbie Downer, but I'm just saying that this was a horrible experience for us. To save you the stress I'd say ... RUN!

Willow Creek had been home to my husband and me for the last 9+ years and the only reason we moved…read morewas because we finally were ready to buy our own house. In 2008 we had moved into a one bedroom apartment and after a few years, moved to a two bedroom after we got married and wanted more room. Overall, this has been a great place to live! Yes, we did have a few negative experiences living there and I'll start with those: 1. We have had a few bad neighbors, but that is a common thing that can happen with apartment living and not the fault of the management. 2. The first year there were a lot of issues with snow plowing but they must have changed companies because the plowing got better the following year. My only issues with snow after that were the people that did not move their cars for the plowing. When you go to your car and you still have to walk in snow because the car next to you didn't move, that can be frustrating. 3. We did have an issue once with mold because of a leaky air conditioner in the above apartment. They did take care of it however they missed a few things and had to come back after I complained and sent them pictures of what they missed. This was however, previous staff that no longer works there. Our good experiences by far, outweigh the few negative ones. The current office staff is great. Ashley and Greg work in the office and they are both professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Josh the maintenance manager is awesome as well. They all take care of things immediately if you have issues. I have not had to call twice for the same thing with them. Willow Creek apartments are well priced. There are some newer apartments close by off of Barker Road and they are a couple hundred dollars more for smaller apartments. W.C. is close to the freeway, restaurants, shopping, and activities like parks, movies and roller skating. They have a small dog play area on site, as well as a pool, tennis courts and a grilling area. We lived in the newest building, which is a pet friendly building. Yes, you can hear dogs barking. But I would much rather hear a dog parking periodically then loud music blasting from someone's apartment. Other than periodic music from some neighbors who didn't realize it was rude to play music that loud, we never heard anything else through the walls. Yes, we would hear doors close or people talking sometimes just outside in the hallway while sitting in the living room. But our next door neighbors had a baby and their child's room was on the other side of our living room and we never heard the baby cry. The only time we ever heard him crying was when we were in the hallway - like opening the door when we came home and the moment we walked into our apartment we couldn't hear him anymore. The grounds are kept up well. Since Ashley took over as manager, she has been taking care of many things to make the grounds more presentable and safe. If there is a light out, Josh will take care of it right away. One time a hot water heater was leaking in the hallway - I called to let them know and they were replacing it that very evening. The current staff is clearly very efficient and reliable. I would 100% recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment.

Bridge has been gone over a year and the stream has been dried up for at least three years. Furthermore, there is debris and garbage in the stream. So many trees were torn down. There isn't any security measures in place. For instance, there aren't any security cameras or secure entries to the buildings. Construction is poor. Noise is terrible between the floors and walls. Management is forgetful. Any work is too much work for some maintenance team members. Coats can't be put in the cost closet because if a sleave bumps into the door, they fall off the hinges. They put very cheap contact paper on very old shelving in the kitchen and are claiming that I did. Also, there was water damage in the apartment at least three times because they couldn't figure out that the drainage hose for the air conditioner needed to drain into something. Bad experience.

We had been residents…read moresince 2012 and our situation changed this last year and we needed to get out of our lease, there were medical issues and the continued increase in our rent was also a factor. At first Renee said there was nothing we could do except pay for them to advertise and continue paying rent until they re rented it. Being long term residents who also maintained the property I asked if there was anything else we could do, we couldn't afford to pay rent at 2 places long term. She finally said we could do a buyout which was paying 2 full months of rent and giving a 30 day notice. We agreed to that and gave notice on January 22nd and planned to be out the end of February. We filled all nail holes, cleaned and vacuumed the whole unit. We were out by February 27, dropped off keys to Renee in the office. A week later we recieved a bill for $134, I expected a bill of around $60 for utilities that we still owed. I called to find out what it was about and found out we were charged rent of $70 for March 1st because that is what the buyout letter stated. I didn't catch that at the time, even though we talked about being out the end of February and we were out by the 27th it was in writing for the 1st. Then a week later I recieved a statement about our security deposit and they charged us $90 because we didn't sand the nail hole spots that we had filled. They screw you any way they can, after spending years there as good residents that is the thanks we got!

The residents are friendly and for the most part kind. The Christmas Get Together and Dinner are a cut above, catered by Rosatis Restaurant. The New manager, an employee of the development company seems very competent, caring, and eager to help. One can overlook the negative comment on the sites website. The staff has been changed and I might say, this is indeed a long needed necessity. The apartments are pricey and rent raised every year a hefty amount. Maybe a few glitches but that is normal for anywhere. You deal with it and get over it. It is mostly all positive. The facilities are really nice in the prairie style architecture and the up keep and cleaning of the buildings are very good. The location is amazing on the western edge of downtown Waukesha, therefore within walking distance of the library and all of the downtown amenities of restaurants, galleries, shopping, farmers market in summer, and discount liquor, etc. The views from all apartments overlooks the Fox River and Bethesda Springs Park. It is an amazing calming place to live. This also gives opportunity for lots of trail walking or jogging or bicycling. There are 5 separate buildings which means you only have about 30 other units in your building so they are basically very quiet. It is a mix of seniors or singles or young couples/partners/roommates. But we have had no noise in our unit. Very quiet!! We have been very impressed and happy living here and if it was not of our need to go into a senior facility, we would continue to live here as we really enjoy it. The property is well kept with the summer landscaping crew, as well as the winter snow clearing crew which is right on top of any snow fall. We enjoy the heated lower level parking garage and the recycling dumpster is there too. The trash dumpsters are out back. Dogs are allowed on the 1st floor and cats on any floor. We have had no issues with either. Maintenance is right there if any issue arises in your unit or if you point out some issue on the property. The maintenance technician is very knowledgeable and will accommodate you and fix anything you need. All the staff is VERY pleasant and agreeable and provides at least a Christmas party and summer grill out party each year. There is also Bunko 2 times a month. The community center is available to rent for your private parties. This is one of the best and enjoyable units we have been in since we sold our house. D and D
