She assists him in daily activities from dressing and bathing to listening to his war stories and childhood memories. She's encouraging, engaging, and so patient. Many, many thanks to Home Instead Senior Care in Slidell, LA. They went above and beyond to take care of my aging parents. My mom was in the last stages of dementia, and my dad was failing in health due to many years of caring for my mom. Home Instead was always there for them....sometimes a few days a week, sometimes 24/7. In the end, before my parents were admitted into a nursing home, Home Instead did everything they could to make the transition easier.
