Left us with No Meds, Supplies or Equipment. We Appealed Discharge with Acentra Health and WON ...and they still Refused to provide CARE for my Husband. Suggest you try Advent Health Hospice instead. Caregivers and sick patients don't need to deal with Incompetence and being left in a dangerous situation without Meds and Equipment without having the chance to procure the Meds/Equipment. I was told by Social Worker that the Halifax Health Hospice Care Centers would NOT accept LEwy Body Dementia patients! HORRIBLE CARE!!! PROTECT YOURSELF and YOUR LOVED ONE. I started out as a home health aide, Colleen the owner has ALWAYS been encouraging to her employees to better themselves, so much so that she convinced me I could become a CNA, so I took the necessary classes and tested with the state, and became a CNA, to which Colleen said, " now it's time for you to become an RN! " . She always, always has her employees safety and well being in mind. I found my calling and I am lucky/ blessed enough to find a company to work for that I love. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a GOOD job, to come to Onyx. We have MANY employees who are amazing to work with. We are a true "family" in every sense of the word.

We had an agency for a couple of years that was absolutely horrid! I knew they were awful, but kept hoping they'd improve. Finally we had enough and I happened upon Onyx. I can not express how thankful I am! This agency is all I had hoped for and more. The owner is a wonderful lady with excellent credentials. Unlike the last agency we had, she puts her caregivers through up to date training, and they are all so reliable and professional. When I call I'm treated with respect, so unlike the last agency. They were always unpleasant and hurried. They are nurses at Onyx, and their experience in the field certainly shows Her aide has been outstanding, and works extremely hard to help my mom. The last agency all the aides wanted was to be taken to a restaurant or watch television. I have been desperately hoping for a little help with my mom, and Onyx has provided more than a little, they are life savers!!!

As for the food we experienced, it was fresh and flavorful and the residents all appeared to be more than satisfied with their meals. My family member also had to participate in the therapy department, each therapist was very involved with each resident and each therapist demonstrated a very strong professional image. Last but not least, the communication I received not only from the clinical team, but as well as management was above and beyond. Would highly recommend Solaris of Daytona Beach to anyone needing this level of care.

I was very lucky to have come across this practice and because of it I have become more healthy. Dr. McHugh is very sweet and kind. She's very compassionate and a very attentive listener. I've always gone to doctors and they always tend to judge me because of how I look. I have dealt with weight issues for all my life, but I love that Dr. McHugh never made me feel less then. Instead she helped me find the source of my problems and she did so very kindly and with a gentle touch. Through lab tests she found out I have PCOS which is where most if not all my problems/symptoms were coming from. I have started to make more healthy choices for myself and Dr. McHugh and her office staff are the ones to thank for that. They are all caring and very upbeat. If you need a PCP, I highly recommend this office. Dr. McHugh is amazing and I am sure all the other doctors at the practice are great too! This is a women's clinic, which is also great if you're a female who would like to get well woman visits done and such. This is another big reason why I love this office -- I am able to get pap smears and all primary care needs met in one office. Highly recommend. I also wanted to preface that there may be some wait to get an appointment, but it is totally worth it. I waited 2-3 months to establish care, but it was one of the best choices I've made.
