There's a nine screen Odeon cinema and a large food court with Mcdonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, Starbucks and others aswell as another children's play area. I remember when it first opened; it was very, very exciting. For the first time South Wales has a selection of designer outlet stores, ranging through everything. From Cadbury to M&S, from Revlon to Whittard, and from Cotton Traders to Animal. The choice was endless. Then the excitement soon wore off, when we realised that these were just normal high street stores with things either substandard or just a little bit cheaper. This is a collection of all that is unwanted from the other shops. That being said, you can pick up some really good bargains from this place, especially from Bookends and some of the sports and camping gear shops. This is a good place to come to if you're after functional items, but not really the kind of place which is going to wow you with its selection of wonderful boutiques. There is also a cinema and food court on site, so you can make a day of it (if there's really nothing better to do). This place getting heaving when it's raining outside.

Then to add insult to injury, they charge you to park in the car park!! To be fair, there is a huge range of shops here with anything from Adidas to Next to Waterford Wedgewood. The discounts ranged from very generous to none and like most outlet places, you have to search hard and be disciplined to find true bargains rather than just buying rubbish because it's cheap and never wearing it If you feel your fuel levels flagging, there are food outlets like Burger King around OK I confess I did buy some shoes from Timberland and had to be dragged out of Le Creuset before I did something my credit card would regret! I often find the Reiss discounts are some of the best for the quality you're getting. They also have a good food court with fast food and some nicer places like Wagamama. The Cadbury's store is great if you're looking for bags of mini chocolates. My best friend loves strawberry creams and they sometimes have entire bags of just them. At Christmas they have some great items too, but not very heavily discounted. Nice place to walk around and a great shopping centre for wedding outfits etc.

Although it's in the same building as the old 'Seconds Ahead' store and looks similar (no make-over in evidence yet), the clothes are 'first quality' and they do not sell seconds. There's a good range for all the family and many bargains on offer (I have been into the store twice in the last week and bought a coat on one occasion). There are two small changing rooms halfway into the store on the right. Accessories too including scarves, hats and gloves. Definitely worth a look if you're passing.

The shop stocks everything you need for yourself and your home. I find the toiletries there are so cheap compared to other places and there is a good variety. There is also a good choice of toys for your children at the moment they have some great outdoor toys ready for the summer. I can spend hours looking around as there lots of great offers on including cheap bedding and accessories for your home.I find the prices in there are very cheap. The store is well laid out and it is easy to find what you're looking for and if you can't find something the staff are happy to help you. Sometimes in the weekend it can get quite busy so you have to queue but it's like that in most places.
