The owners are amazing. Very friendly, helpful .. really fun! We have been shopping there for years! But, today we went in to pick up a purchase we had bought the day before. We were five minutes early and had no problem waiting but the door was open. The lady working today (should have got her name) was so very rude! She kept making snide rude remarks which made my husband and myself very uncomfortable. I will continue you to shop but i WILL make sure she is not working. I will walk right out if she is working. It's been a fat minute since I've been here and I forgot how darling it is! It's a consignment store of eclectic pieces ranging from antiques to even new furniture. It's a very large space that's filled with interesting pieces. We had a lot of fun browsing and found some great buys. Prices were fair. read more

I pull up to da crib on tha way back from doing sumthing. So we be seeing it and thinking we fr finna check out dis place and so we pull up and walk in. We walk in and we be seeing that they fr got lots of antiques and old stuff up in here. Shiiii I even saw sum cosas that fr looked like it was made 200 years ago fr. Sum older lady was running up the place and sweet suga was so kind to us, bless her she a real one frfr. Love the selection in this store. Once I move I'll be going back for furniture. They have a great mix of vintage and new pieces.

the service was amazing, though very overpriced. i was excited to pick up a bookshelf marked on facebook for $40, but when i went to pick it up it was a flimsy small trinket shelf that would be held up by thumbtacks. it was worth maybe $10 at most, and felt like it was made from cardboard. read more

This. Place. Is. Dangerous! There are so many cute things in here and they get new items in pretty regularly. I bought my guest bed frame and a cute bookcase that's shaped like a ladder from here. I love looking around here and would say that the only downside is some of the items can be pricey. read more

A Cute little local store with some great finds, though we've never purchased anything we certainly see tons we would love to if not for being out of our price range or painted teal which isn't our color. I wanted to give this a three and half star. Maybe i should round up to four. I love some of the items here. The store is quite a bit bigger than it's counterpart in sugar house but i feel the staff at the sugar house location is far friendlier and more helpful. They see that i'm holding something and they tell me where in the store there is something similar or ask to hold it for me. That did not happen once at the midvale location. In fact the three people working there the last time i visited sat behind the counter and didn't even reciprocate the smile i gave. I had to laugh at some of the negative reviews left here because they are pretty spot on as far as the staff is concerned. But a rude staff doesn't mean the store doesn't have fun things. I would definitely recommend this store. It's fun and colorful and I will definitely return. read more

Great little store with home consignment/vintage. The pieces they put together are always unique and lovely. Allot of shabby chic to rustic to barn to modern, they have a good lot of fun items. Prices are more on the steep side, but you can find some items at reasonable prices. Love the location and the cute building. Staff is just OK, nothing to write home about. This place has a lot of room for improvement. The first time I wanted to consign some things, I called to learn about the process. I specifically asked if they would take some 5x7 area rugs, and was told yes. When I took my things over the next day, I was told they do not take area rugs. So it was annoying that I was given misinformation, because it was a bit of work to roll up the rugs, fit them in my small car, lug them into the store, all for nothing. This week I was once again given misinformation over the phone. They called me to tell me I had two remaining items that had expired and a small check for something that had sold. When I went in today to pick up the check, they said they don't write checks for amounts smaller than $20. I asked why was I called and told I should come in and pick up a check, and the woman just reiterated that they don't issue checks for under $20. She was quite rude and unfriendly about it, but she did finally write me the check. They need to get their policies straight and give consigners correct information on the phone. And they need to be friendlier. read more

I like to drop by once a while. I love to walk around the beautiful shabby chic decors and furnitures. I feel therapeutic just from walking around. Maybe because I love pretty things............? After I moved to a new home, I started to come by and pick up little things from here and there. $10 white silk pillow with gold embroidery looks great with my antique upholstery chair. $8 sliver metal oval shaped plate contains all my skincare product and a color match with my bathroom granite countertop. And other stuffs like glass alcohol bottle for mouthwash and antique craved oval frame as decor. The staffs are pretty friendly. They always greet me, ask me how am i doing, and a little chit chat when I am purchasing an item. I do wish they are a bit more knowledgable on the items. I saw a set of antique Chinese rosewood furnitures. I asked them if they know if it is actual rosewood. Yep, they do not know what is rosewood. My parents' midlife crisis hobby is to collect rosewood antiques. The price of the items are not too bad. Since it is consignment store, the store split 50/50 on the sold item. read more

I like a packed to the gills consignment furniture store. This one fits the bill and it even has pretty handmade jewelry and hair items. Over time, I have seen the prices marked come down which is a good thing. This location of Home Again is 3x the size of the Sugarhouse location and the prices are more realistic. I like that there is a farmers stand right next door too! read more

The owner of the company is very arrogant and rude. It was my first time visiting Home Again and just let me say it will be my last. I came across 4 staff employees and I believe the owner of the company as well and not one time did they ask if I needed help. They all just starred at me in a displeasing way. I felt so uncomfortable with their snotty attitudes that I couldn't wait to get out of their store. I highly suggest they work on not being so cold and rude to their customers read more

I am so glad to have found this gem of a store. It is amazing! I own a Bed and Breakfast and I love shops like this and purchase nearly all my items at such stores. They have a wonderful selection of all types of items and the prices were decent compaired to others. Not only do you need wonderful items in a store such as this but you need to display them well and these people know what they are doing. The man and lady that were there were very helpful and put my chosen items on the counter for me. I live in Idaho and really really hope they are still around when I come to SLC again. I love this place! Home Again always has a wide selection of really cool stuff. I've bought several window frames that I plan to turn into either picture frames or mirrors, if only Home Again sold motivation! The furniture selection is amazing, and the prices seem reasonable. This place doesn't even deserve one star! The staff acted like they were doing us a favor by having to wait on us, then proceeded to treat us curtly and very unprofessionally. In a business that's probably not a big money-maker they'd be wise to change their customer relations; they are not the only game in town. Don't waste your time with this "business." read more

I have been a patron of both Home Again stores for many years and have made many purchases there, but I will never go back to the Midvale location again. Wednesday night I went into the store to browse and that always ends in a purchase. There was a long blonde haired girl working there. I asked a few questions and I was treated so rudely by her, that I finally walked out. I have never seen anyone with such poor customer service skills. My wife and I visit Home Again - Midvale every couple of weeks looking for items for our theater company or for our home. Although we don't always find what we are looking for, we always have a great time looking at the wonderful items in the store. Some are antiques, some are things that remind us of our youth, some are reuse items that have been cleverly assembled. We have always found the staff helpful when we are looking for something specific, and aloof when we are just browsing. We love this store and will be back often. read more

I love the feel of the store and all the ideas. everytime I go in they are real busy behind the counter pricing all the consignments and I have been acknowledged almost every time I go in. alot of people take their stuff for consignments and tie up the girls behind the counter for large amount of times. This is the best consignment store in the valley, it is also my favorite one too. I have refurnished 80% of my entire house with furniture and home decor bought from Home Again. I have bought and sold hundreds of things here and have always been treated well. The staff are always friendly and helpful, so I'm totally shocked that people would say negative things about them. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I brought items up to Home Again Consignment shop in Midvale, UT and the owner, Emily, told me she "lost" my items. She insists she only lost one metal woven basket ($22.00), but she also lost a carved wooden shelf ($28). She was very rude when I asked her what she was going to do about it and she refused to give me ANY sort of compensation for the items she "lost". I honestly don't know how someone like her stays in business. Well, maybe I do! I have called her at least 5 times and went to the store to talk to her about this 4 times.
