Surprisingly the deposit fee was not part of the $820 rental fee, but no big deal; what's $1,409.02 when you're getting $600 back and you did not account for the extra cost. So an hour later the equipment shows up on site..We're just a little behind schedule. The Harley rake was used less than an hour, and a hydraulic line busted...can not confirm, but was advised it was due to barbwire caught in roller. The machine cut off and would not start back..found out the fuel gauge was broken and 1/4 is empty. They forgot to pick up the equipment, so I waited around for several hours and could not get anyone on the phone. Equipment sat in my customer's yard for 5 days. Today is almost 1 month since the equipment rental date, and they just returned $150 of the $600 deposit. $600 Deposit -$325 Smooth Bucket Corners Repaired -$75 cleaning fee for barbwire -$0 Skidsteer had a recall that caused arms to hit cab and not raise all the way. On top of being efficient and professional, Derek has a warm, friendly personality that made the whole experience much less stressful than I expected. I tried contacting several different companies to begin service for general household pests…read more Paragon was by far the most responsive and easiest to talk with, answering my questions, explaining procedures and scheduling service in a timely manner. I was very concerned about product safety (the old stuff used years ago was so dangerous) but both Derek and John put my mind at ease. He's licensed (NC Wildlife Damage Control Agent), and did a great job at checking my house and taking care of the birds' nests. He was very patient and answered all of my questions on how vent covers work, to giving me suggestions on how else to protect my home from "animal" intruders. The nest he removed had 5-6 eggs in them, and he removed them from the premises. No harming of baby animals that I could tell. Very professional, and even checked our roof since he had thought there was an opening up top, so he climbed up and walked around to make sure that there wasn't any openings where wildlife could partake in destroying our home. Price as of May 2011, was $150 for bird/nest removal with 1 vent cover, and $25 for each extra vent cover. I will say that you probably could do this yourself if you have the equipment, but I'm glad I paid a professional since it's not something that I personally like to deal with.
