Amara unfortunately you are wrong about the filing - toward the cuticle is where the damage was…read morethey did over file that area because my nails had an unnatural bump in them as they grew out after and they were incredibly thin , so thin that they were pealing. Maybe you burnt the crap out if them with the chemicals you put on my hands ! Who knows! I don't care if you charged me or not I'm still struggling to get my nails back in shape after visiting your salon. I don't care how many positive reviews you've got either on Wahonda. It doesn't fix the butchery you did to my hands and nails.

I made an appointment for a consultation at the Trinity Walk salon because I hate my current style…read morebut don't know what to do with it. The person I spoke to really was not interested. She never offered to take my coat and, when we were finished, and I was struggling to pin my hair back up, it was only after several minutes that she thought to offer me a comb. She suggested one style (the way she had her own hair as it happens) and then lost interest as I was asking questions about how it would work with my type of hair. Her solution was to tell me to find pictures of what I would like and the go back! Not a chance! I left feeling utterly deflated and will not be returning.

As this hairdressers is more reasonably priced than others I realised it would probably not be the best haircut yet I figured my request to be so simple that no hairdresser could get it extremely wrong. On getting home and reviewing my haircut I discovered that several pieces were much longer than others and overall it was very uneven. A few pieces were literally an inch longer than others giving me a completely ridiculous look, would never go back here despite very nice interior and friendly staff.

After a few minutes of slight awkwardness I am taken to my chair, offered a drink and begin to feel well attended to. The stylist talks me through want I want to have done and then one of the juniors washes my hair and gives me a scalp massage in the process, which is always my favourite part of getting my hair cut. The stylist cut my hair quickly while chatting politely about holidays and the weather, the standard topics covered in a hair salon. I was very pleased with the cut and blow dry and it was reasonably priced. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, the salon is clean and the décor simple and bright. Although initially the staff were not overtly friendly by the end of the visit they were so jovial and friendly that I would recommend a trip to this salon. http://beautytruthsnotuglylies.blogspot.com/

I was surprised that it was solely filled with male hairdressers (although looking at their website it appears that there are women that work here), but Russel did wonders with my hair (he's single, ladies) and gave me a very funky hair cut that looked awesome on the slopes! The only problem around here is parking. the streets are always rammed!

I first came across this place when I cut my hair REALLY short. It was great until it started growing out and it got to that horrible awkward length where you can't do anything with it. This is when I took a trip here in search of some hair extentions.   The shop is run by middle aged men (for some reason I was expecting women who wear extentions and hair products to be the sales assistants) and as confusing as this was to me when I first walked in boy do they know they stuff! You can see them take a look at your hair for a few seconds then off they go to the wall of extentions and select two shades one of which is always a perfect match. They never do the hard sell they are just really friendly and give really great service. I have even been in for advice in dying my hair as I wanted to achieve a specific colour and they told me exactly how I would be able to. The quality in all the hair they sell is really great and I have even had the chance to try their luxury hair range which is around the £70 mark but well worth the extra money. I was actually given a discount on it too which made it that bit better. Whatever your needs you are bound to find something in here, they even sell makeup and false lashes for really cheap! I have been in before looking for a specific hair dye which they didn't stock. The manager asked me to write the name of it down so he could buy some in! They are literally that nice! The staff in this shop being as great as they are just makes me want to go back, and so my addiction to hair extentions and hair dye and is not going to end any time soon.

Had a bit of a strange experience with the stylist who was quite abrupt and rather unfriendly towards Customers. She made a bit of a hash of my fringe and I had to go back the next day, she argued that I had only asked her to cut half of my fringe (me thinks not) and then said it was too short, which it so isn't. She did rectify it for me and now the over all cut is pretty good. Still bemused as to how the confusion arose and maybe I did play some part in it somehow... The price was extra cheap as I said and I think I may go back but will maybe seek out a different girl as my experience was quite odd last time, still was only £13.95and the place was nice and clean and tidy, maybe not a bang tidy result though hahaha!
