I called for an appointment was told to just head over. When I arrived 15 minutes later, I was told they are completely booked. I went next door to browse at a souvenir shop. Saw two other women walk in, they were given walk in appts. I asked one of the women if they had appts, she said they did not. This business is clearly racist, rude and a waste of time. read more

This app is making me give them a star to post this. if i could i would not star this place at all! Today 5/23/2024 my 15 year old daughter went to get her nails done. she had shown me some pictures of what she wanted done. She was treated badly, the nail tech would say she couldn't do one thing or another and was very unprofessional with my daughter top the point of when she called me she was in tears. Her simple request had been meet with rudeness to the point that my daughter stopped asking the nail tech things. I did call to speak with the manager or owner of this establishment i was told on the phone that they didnt know when the manager was coming in or they would be back. after being on the phone with me for almost 8 minutes i was told that the individual i was speaking with was busy and work to do. i do understand that however i wanted to lave my name and number for the manager/owner to call me. the individual hung up on my and when i called back would pick up the phone and not say a word and then hang up, again i wanted to leave my name and number. if your in need of your nails done DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! read more

Pedicure was fine but nails, not so much. Got dip on my nails and the finished surface was bumpy and thick. The clear coat finish is also lifting off after 4 days...never had that happen before. read more

My daughter got her nails done here, they didn't honor her appointment time, didn't let her pick her own design said they only had 10 colors to choose from and that was it, but she really wanted to get her nails done so she went with it! When she was done they were not the same size the polish was uneven and not covering the whole nail and they were still frayed on the side from the acrylic, went in to talk with Jimmy about it and he immediately ran to his drawer to grab nail clipper a from his desk and ran at my 14 year old daughter yelling that if I didn't like he would take them off! I made her leave the store because he threatened her and made her cry and then proceeded to get in my face and yell obscenities in front of his child in the salon who looked about 7 or 8. Would not recommend EVER, AND WATCH OUT FOR JIMMY!!! read more

I had tried this place about a year ago and decided to try again due to convenience. I will not make this mistake again. I had a dip/tip service done and the job was so crappy I had to go get them redone within the first week. They were filed way too wide, bumpy and had many flaws. Not to mention, it took her 1.5 hours. The price was way too high for the work done. I would drive back to Middleton prior to going here again. Waste of time/money! read more

Perhaps Matthew had a bad day, but when he removed my shellac polish, instead of using acetone and aluminum foil, he used a sander to remove, and one nail was so thin it was close to going to the base. The nails chipped and in less than two weeks I went to my regular manicurist and she had to make 10 patches for various cracks and splits. Very unsatisfactory. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I went it on Tuesday to get shellac nails done. The lady did such a terrible job that it was chipping as soon as I got home. The Second day it got worse so I called to make an apt to come back in so I can get a refund or have them fixed. They told me to come in and when I showed up the owner conveniently was gone for the day. They said they could do nothing for me and to come back the next day. Overpriced, even at their discount prices. Unfortunately, this place proves the old adage "you get what you pay for." I came in with gel nails, looking to get a fill done, and then some color. After applying the acrylic, my manicurist shaped my nail wrong, and then proceeded to argue with me about what shape I wanted them. Once shaped, I was haphazardly applied color. What was left were ridges, missed spots, and stained fingers. I feel like I could have done this better myself. I would not reccommend this place, despite the fact that the manicurist was very nice, and the atmosphere was what you would expect. read more

I recently visited Hollywood Nails with a couple of friends for shellac manicures and regular pedicures. One of the girls I was with had shellac polish on her toenails that needed to be removed before proceeding with the pedi. The nail tech proceeded to chip off the shellac polish with a cuticle nipper instead of soaking them with acetone to ensure proper removal without ruining the nail bed. This took a very long time and unfortunately she was unable to get a shellac mani because we had already been there for quite some time. My other friend has shellac nail polish on that needed to be removed, however after seeing how they removed the toenail polish, she chose not to go forward with the shellac mani as well. I was the only one to get a shellac mani and was thoroughly disappointed. The polish I chose was apparently popular and they were trying to stretch the polish as far as they could and added thinner to the color creating a VERY light and dull overall color. After I asked my nail tech if that was the true color, he proceeded to tell me it was too late to change it now because it was already cured (I asked after the first coat was added, it wasn't too late). My nails were still tacky after he finished and the polish was streaky and very poorly applied all over my cuticles (it has been 2 days and they are already starting to lift and chip). He also never asked what shape I wanted my nails and just rounded them out. After all the poor service we had, I still had to pay $70 for a very unsatisfying experience. I will never return. read more
