When was the last time you went bowling? HESITATION!! Clearly you need to take stock of your priorities and sort your life out! I love to bowl, and, even though I am god awful at it, I always make time in my Aberdeen adventures to pop in here and play a couple of games. It's fun, it's wholesome and there is nothing more satisfying than kicking my dads ass at a game or three. At Sunset the games are crazy cheap if you come on a Monday or during their discount evenings, but overall it's much cheaper than the chain bowling alleys. It's a quid to rent your shoes, but they're the Velcro ones so they don't look as cute on as the lace ups (priorities! Haha) You can choose between regular lanes or black light lanes, which are in the dark with neon pins; perfect for those who wish bowling was more like raving or would like to travel back to the psychedelic 60s. There's a diner attached, as well as a bar, so if you're here with a group or end up obsessively playing for hours, you're going to be able to be fed and watered without leaving the lanes. My only tip? Leave the car at home so you can drink n bowl, because somehow those lucky strikes are so much more satisfying with a cheeky pint on the side... read more

We had a birthday party for a 5 years old, be honest do not book with Hollywood bowl, the reason is there is no service at all, no preparations, when the kids played their bowling, we were seated and meals came no drinks were bought, they were sposed to bring 2 jar of squash but they did not, we had to chase them order to do that, once the children ate their food, we asked them to give us another plate they refused, and they had no package to put the cake holders, I will never ever book a birthday party here again read more
