I had excellent service from start to finish and from leaving my home at 2.45 and being back indoors by 4.05pm it does indicate a good level of efficiency and minimal waiting time. I was really well cared for, name tagged, and being introduced by name to each member of staff and having the procedures explained to me throughout. My personal belongings were looked after until my treatment was over, then I was given tea and biscuits and finally given further information including emergency phone numbers to cover 24 hours should I become concerned about anything. I'm pretty certain that I would not have had such attentive treatment if I had been attending my old hospital in London, so I'm pleased that this hospital is being rebuilt and therefore less likely to disappear in the near future.
