It was also no hassle for them when asked for same day delivery, it was like, sure... Where to! Exactly the type of positive attitude us consumers love to hear. So with little notice, they were able to sort out same day delivery and the bouquet that arrived was amazing, big and plentiful. Fresh flowers, nothing looking wilted or thrown together and unlike some florists, the greeting card was well written, clear and legible... It's the little things ;-) Their website is great, so many options and great value options at that. I haven't visited in store but I will definitely pop in next time I'm going by, after all Mother's Day next month. This place will definitely be on my radar in the future. It probably has the coolest version of the chain coffee shop Insomnia that I have seen, it's in a thatched house. My friend laughed at my awe and thought it was tacky but he's a fool anyhow - it's in a thatched house people, that's like McDonalds in a mosque. I'm not a plant person but I want to be so I started small and got some purple daisy looking things for 99c, they are probably weeds but pretty weeds. I saw a baby Christmas tree there too for €45 which seems steep to me, but then this whole plant thing is a whole new world to me. I think I will get it.

I was then asked to wait a further 15 minutes for tge help. I then waited 20 for the item to be told there was none left. I had checked the day before and they were in stock. I was then told that what I wanted was not good and they said they are better ones, which are very very expensive. Very poor costumer service. I think they were in stock and they were trying to get more money from me. Very disappointed.

Bad mistake. This time I needed a nice plant as a present so seeing they are basically on my doorstep I drove in - what a surprise. It's actually a quite big nursery with a rather big car park too. Looking to find the best suitable plant for my friend I looked at almost all plants on display. And they all looked great with good prices. Together with pots and other gardening related items it's definitely now a place on my map. The staff was very nice and obviously enjoyed working there.

The abundance of blooms at the bottoms of South Anne Street, Duke Street and Chatham Street add colour, life, and tradition to the city's central shopping mecca. The ladies huddle beside their mountain of blossoms, occasionally rising to advertise their wares in voices hoarse from cold. The bouquets range from simple clusters of staid chrysanthemums or colourful Dutch tulips wrapped in white paper, to extravegant arrangements of red roses and lillies. My favourites are the huge, bright yellow sunflowers, their raised heads expressing a kind of floral pride. The bouquets here may not be the fanciest in town, but they are certainly the cheapest. Buying from the flower sellers not only guarantees you fresh, beautiful blooms, but keeps up a Grafton Street tradition in times when department stores, the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, threaten to eclipse the essence of what the city once was.
