They sell a good variety of products from run of the mill vitamins to rarer harder to find supplements and aromatherapy products and homeopathic medicines. Additionally they also have a nice little range of veggie foods too which is an added bonus especially as the food isnt the typical veggie foods you normally expect to find.

Natures store is a health food shop and has been in Leigh town centre for many years and is run by…read morea wonderfully helpful gentleman and his son who will do their very best to help and advise and source items for you, they are also very knowledgeable. If you go into the store and ask for advice they go out of their way....'that extra mile' to assist you, which I think is lovely. The shop is situated on Lord St and is a small and well stocked store, a very interesting place to visit, quaint. The shop sells a variety of supplements, Vegan and Vegetarian products, herbal teas, organic products, food stuffs and gluten free products, skincare, hair care to name a few. It is an interesting place to browse as there are so many products on display and prices are reasonable too, and there is sometimes a clearance section that is well worth a look. There are car parks located around the town, these are pay and display, or if you only want to pop in to Natures store you can park on Lord st for a limited time only, or on Railway rd for a limited time only, in the allocated areas. Natures Store is well worth a visit, it is a friendly, family run business and Highly recommended by me. Update 10th May 2010 I feel the need to add to this review, having visited the Natures Store today. I went with particular items in mind and some knowledgeable and trustworthy advice. The items that I wanted were there and I was told when more stock would be available if there was something that they didn't have at that time, also as luck would have it they had liquorice tea which I have not been able to get for some time and they had some items on offer and in clearance (boxes may be damaged but product absolutely fine) that I purchased. Then I asked for advice regarding Vegan Omega 3,6,9 requirements and was given good, unbiased advice based on latest research and shown the product that they stocked. It was like being in an aladins cave, I was delighted with my purchases and the advice given. I can very highly recommend this store and hope that people shop there to support our fantastic local health store.

In all seriousness though, Nutri Bar is fantastic. Great choice of ready made or made to order Salads, bowls or wraps filled with only healthy options (unless you layer it with cheese like I do). Even the sauces are healthy, you can tell as they are not as sweet as normal, but they still go really well with your healthy lunch! If they had their location in a more prime area, they would make an absolute killing! It's pretty much always busy anyway where it's located, (just opposite David Lloyd gym) and that goes someway to telling you they do a great job! A great spot to grab a quick lunch and head back to the office and also make sure you grab a couple of their tasty 'dessert' options!

I visited here today, while shopping in Wigan having noticed this store does look quite nice, with the newer, more modern layout which Holland & Barrett seem to be rolling out, which is similar to the store in Manchester's Trafford Center. This store is quite small but it does seem to have a good range including for gluten free items, I even noticed the Clive's Pies available for £4.99, which still were pricey and some biscuits available, but these were just the horrible biscuits coeliacs get on prescription anyway and were not worth buying, let alone getting for one of your units from the NHS. As stated above, the store did have Chilled foods. The staff seemed helpful to point out gluten free, but in one way they seemed to pressure me into looking and buying, and rushed me around a little. This store is okay, but some items are really expensive and simply not worth buying and this store really needs to take a look into both its' pricing and range to make the most of this store, and increase its range of clients, but for now it isn't fantastic and as a store, it doesn't stand out as much.
