Prior to the massage, she asked what areas I wanted to focus on and the pressure I was comfortable with. The 30 minute session was very relaxing and seemed to fly by. While it didn't fully unpinch the nerve (I think a longer session may have), I left feeling better and with less pain. To top it off, CWC is taking so many extra steps during COVID. The fitness center is spotless, and the employees are constantly cleaning and have their masks on. I have been a member on and off at this fitness center for around 6 years or so and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Women are being forced to share the showers in the family locker room, which has only two showers, or the two showers in the physical therapy locker room. We are now being told it will be several months more before the women have showers again because UPMC can't get their act together! There is up to 15 women taking an aquatics class with four showers, (2 in the family locker room and 2 in the physical therapy locker room), this is completely unacceptable! UPMC...STOP TREATING THE WOMEN LIKE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS! Every woman in this facility should be receiving a 10% discount until you can provide us with same amenities that the men have and if you can't provide that that is discrimination and I'm gonna find a lawyer who will sue you all for discrimination. Furthermore, I am sick and tired of the men using the family locker room as a cut through to the pool area! If a man does not have a child requiring their assistance and they are not female, they have no reason to be in the family locker room! That behavior needs to stop immediately! As of now, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone until UPMC does right to the female members of this establishment. Do better UPMC!
