They called me and told me they were charging me $61.00 for a missed appointment even though I explained what happened. I was told they would not make another appointment until that $61.00 was paid! I was very annoyed and upset at the attitude and told them I would not pay it -- that the amount was a ridiculous charge. I cannot recall the gal's name but she said she would talk to Dr. Ramirez and let me know what she said. I never got a call back. They lost a good customer because we have four cats and one big dog! It was very important that I get Daisy to see a vet because she was not doing well. I made an appointment at Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital today and they could got me in right away after Dr. Sutton's surgery. Her eye and respiratory situation was worse and she had a lump on the bridge of her nose between her eyes. There was no question that it was cancer. I knew this was the case because many years ago I had a cat with the same thing -- had her operated on and the cancer recurred almost immediately. It was horrible. I would not put Daisy through that. She was kindly euthanized. Daisy should have been properly diagnosed. Sadly, for $267, she wasn't and she was put through some unnecessary suffering.

Over $700 for a dog and cat routine annual visit where they did things to my animals I didn't want like putting flea medication on my cat without asking. I have had dogs, cats and horses all my life and I could always talk to my vets without being charged a "consultation fee" starting at $80. And you have to wonder why someone changes their name from Angela to Angel. Horrible experiences waiting for test results. First time they supposedly got my email address wrong (funny how they managed to get it right for their marketing) and second time the vet lied and told me she called and left a message and I had no record of a call from her (cell phones don't lie). Her office staff person was SUPER helpful and made me feel they could offer assistance at any time in between visits with Dr. Vance. On her first visit to my home, Dr. Vance kindly explained that my best friend was in her final stages of life and that I needed to think about saying goodbye... "better too-early than too-late." I did not want my dog to suffer but I made the decision to wait a week or so before scheduling Dr Vance to return. As the following week went on my pup was letting me know by her failing health that it was okay to say Goodbye. Dr. Vance came back with her Vet Tech and they could not have been more professional, compassionate and kind!! Having my best bud for 13+ years take her last breath in her home with me by her side was very hard, but it was the least I could have done for her - it's what she wanted and needed! All I'm gonna say is I brought my darling Izzy in for dental in Sept 2025. She came home in terrible condition! She couldn't eat, she could barely stand or walk and they had no hours when I could bring her back in because I work 8-4:30 and so do they. When I kept calling there and expressing my being upset, they tried to turn it on me that it's MY fault because I didn't bring her back after her surgery. How could I when I work???? I kept bringing her to the emergency animal hospital on 40. Their after care is pathetic. It cost me $1800 to basically kill my little girl. She ended up passing away in my arms the following week - After multiple visits to the emergency Vet. NEVER let Dr. Johnson do dental on your dog! Go to Marion County Humane Society clinic. They are 1/3 the cost, they do the bloodwork the morning of surgery so there is NO QUESTION that your dog can be safely put under anesthesia. The Vet there as well as the team were outstanding. My new rescue came home after surgery and the first thing he wanted to do was eat! What a difference. Save your heart from breaking and avoid this place. Again, my condolences to Dr. McCall because I really liked her, but she was also a disappointment in the end because she never reached out to me during this fiasco.
