For the Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED you must take both an online course and in person class(via Zoom.) Everything is provided for you to use in the class and the instructors are patient and professional! Upon successful completion, you'll receive a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED! History of CPR In 1956 Dr. James Elm was the first to demonstrate CPR and with help of Dr. Peter Safar, invented mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Peter Safar called it the "ABCs"maintaining a patient's Airway, Breathing and Circulation. Resusci Anne was the first CPR training mannequin made by dollmaker Åsmund Laerda. It was inspired by a death mask of a unidentified teenager that tragically took her own life in River Seine(Paris) in the late 1880's. She was said to have a sweet smile and so beautiful that her image should be preserved! The lyrics "Annie, are you OK?" in Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" was also inspired by Resusci Anne! I would recommend visiting this building and my husband and I will definitely be returning to take another class! I'm a nanny to sometimes 4 boys, we have a daughter of our own and are also trying to expand our family! So it's important to stay up to date for the safety of the children! SYOY! :-)
