We were not ready for our 6 month old to camp so we opted for these cottages. We were so happy. Everything you need. Great use of space. We could cook, walk 10 minutes to the boardwalk, walk 2 minutes to sit on the rocks and smoke a cigar and even step outside and watch the marina. I loved staying here and will be back again. Close to everything I love in the area and very cozy.

Hotels.com said we were booked and good to go. I did not look at the app again, or the emails as I had a screenshot of it saying we had two rooms. We pulled into Ocean Shores for dinner at 8pm and decided to look for the hotel name. That's when I found a email saying there was a problem with the card and our rooms would not be booked. I called the hotel and she was extremely sweet. She told me she was going to cancel our reservation in the morning if we did not show up that night. I was so relieved that she still had our two rooms. Turns out so how they just did not have the expectation date for our card. She ran it and sent us our room codes right away. After running around all day, I feel asleep on our hour long car and didn't notice where we pulled into. Got out, and the room code did not work on either rooms. So, I call the number on the door and even though it was 10pm she was again so sweet. Still couldn't get the codes to work so she said she would be right there. After hanging up I turn around to see we are not at the right place and the hotel is behind us. She meet us over there and wow, codes worked for the correct rooms. She could have been mean and pissy about it but was unbelievably nice. The rooms are decorated cute, they are clean and comfortable. She even has a wine corkscrew in here for you. My mom would get cold so she had the heater on in her room. The Cabin we were in was dog friendly and easy to keep clean with linoleum flooring. The cabin also had a 2 chair table inside as well as 2 adirondack chairs outside to relax in. It was perfect for 3 people (my parents and me) They got the bedroom and I slept on the pullout couch. I loved the the couches had covers on them so it would be easy to wash if the dogs were on it. There is also an area for the dogs but wished there was a fence for it. But that's ok. The cabin had pots and knives, cutlery, bottle openers, glasses, 2 mugs, plates and bowls, a single coffee maker with little creamers and sugars . I didn't see pans. But I'm sure you could ask if they have some or use the pots. For the fisherman, there are 2 areas to clean your fish so cabin 16 was right in front of there which was convenient. There is also a stand for a pot for a crab boil on the other side of the fish cleaning station across from Cabin 16. The cleaning staff were helpful when we needed supplies like more towels. or letting us know where the ice machine was located. I didn't see any laundry areas so I just walked 2 min to the Westhaven Laundry. It was clean there too. Parking was non covered and next to each entrance of the cabins or you can park across the way. Lots of safe parking. Not really wheelchair friendly for the cabins and the area since it's rocky ground with some patches of grass.

You get actual room keys which are a bit bulky, but sometimes do make me feel more safe than the electronic keys. Everything was clean and in good working order. I had no idea this place had a kitchen, but this allowed me to save some money by having a meal in the room. There is a grocery store located very close. I also really appreciated the bathroom amenities which included a toothbrush and toothpaste which is not something I recall seeing in a hotel anytime in recent years. There's a large grass area out front which children were playing in and people were walking their pets. There's a covered structure that looked ideal for spending time outside in the colder/wetter weather. The decor was also perfect. Beachy enough to fit the vibe and the location but not overly kitschy. We brought our dog with us so had one of the dog-friendly units. The room was clean and recently remodeled. The bed was comfortable. There was no air conditioning, but there is excellent flow through ventilation and a fan was provided so we slept comfortably. An extra blanket was also provided and was needed. I had an interaction with housekeeping and it was pleasant. The room had a view of the marina and ocean views were available from the door. We watched the sunset from the landing in front of the room. Parking was plentiful. The wildlife can be loud with the windows open, but earplugs were provided. Overall, it was a perfect experience. I would certainly stay here again There is an on-site restaurant called The Siren which had excellent service with decent food.
