There weren't a ton of people there so it was quiet. We stayed on the third floor and there was an ice machine and snack machine on our floor. There were water bottles in the gym, which was cool. I also needed butter during my stay and one of the ladies at the counter went and got some for me. Overall it was a decent experience but honestly if I went back to the area I'd book at Candlewood Suites a mile down the road.

Definitely won't stay at that Sheraton again! As for this property, the Courtyard - AWESOME... From the check-in process to the overall cleanliness of the property and the room (some of which I viewed when walking by rooms and seeing the housekeeping staff cleaning). I liked it all... I mean, it wasn't the best, but it's definitely, by far sooo much better than the nasty Sheraton down the street and better than many other Courtyards, Fairfields, and Sheratons I've stayed in lately for work. I wish Marriott would work to fix this issue, as it's a relatively new problem I've noticed over the past few years that all the properties I've stayed in were poorly managed, not kept clean, dysfunctional, etc.... This property definitely wasn't like that at all... it reminded me why I prefer to stay in Marriotts. I'll definitely stay here again when visiting, as I've got a lot of work to do in the area and will be back!

Making the staff do additional tasks not related to their jobs, so cutting corners which has visibly affected this hotel. The shower was not cleaned in my room, someone else's hair on the wall and floors were dirty (see pics) after reporting it 4 times nothing happened. Staff can careless as none even offered to change my room. I showered at my sisters room next to mine. We both lost half of the room's electricity, plugs and lights attached to the bed didn't work, driver was sent to check the fuse box but couldn't fix it, he was the nicest man there and brought us water and ice cream cause he couldn't fix it. My bed was only made 1 day of the whole week I stayed there. Will go stay at the other Marriott but not this one. Bistro was closed all week as well so had to get breakfast elsewhere.

Once I opened my room door, no musty smell came out to greet me. Yay! Once I turned on the lights, it was to my delight that the bedcovers and sheets were a bright white in color. (I was told that whenever a hotel's covers are a color other than white and have those floral patterns, they have something to hide. AKA bed bugs!). The room contained a large king sized bed and a separate living area with a large desk. The room had 2 large flat screen smart TVs with my name literally on the screen! The bathroom was clean and spacious, well lit for me to get ready and apply my make-up. The shower was very inviting as it had clear glass doors and very clean. The lady at the front desk was kind enough to upgrade my room to a king suite free of charge as they ran out of regular king sized rooms. I definitely enjoyed my stay here. They also offer free breakfast in the morning, but unfortunately I slept through my alarm clock and didn't have time to check out what was on the menu. The hotel's location is a convenient 10 minutes from the Pittsburgh airport, surrounded by a mall with many places to catch a bite to eat. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in town!
