It's about an $11 shuttle ride from the airport or else a $30ish cab ride. The breakfast has hot items like eggs and bacon but also has scones, yogurt parfait station, fruits and baked goods. Staff is very friendly and welcoming - always asking how your time is going. The walls seem to transport noise though so you might hear the neighbours or the kids running in the hallways. The hot tub and pool are outdoors so remember that in the winter months those will not be open. The restaurant was also closed for the season which meant having to go elsewhere for dinner. Hilton has a free rewards program as well - might as well sign up for it when you check in!

The toilet was placed way too close to the shower limiting access to the shower. The shower curtain was too short so puddles on the floor. The hotel is set off a small side road and the marquee was not well situated so it took a phone call and a few minutes to locate even with GPS. It sits behind a few other main chain hotels. The hotel was average on all points. The room was clean, but nothing extraordinary. It had a separate sitting area segregated from the bed which was nice. No evidence of bed bugs in the room and there was no smell. There were a few place near to eat, but all were fast food chain style. For what I was looking for - a place to sleep and shower. It was perfect. To spend a romantic getaway probably best to look elsewhere.

Great location, close to restaurants, McD's, Timmy's, gas stations, and the highway. Amenities include fitness room and an outdoor pool. We stayed in Room 301, queen suite, includes kitchenette, and a queen pullout. The room is a corner unit, north-facing and direct access to stairs, and close to the breakfast room. The continental breakfast includes, hard-boiled eggs, bagels, toasts, cereals, apples, DIY waffles, juice, coffee, yogurts, and muffins. No hot food. Ample parking on location and additional street parking. We would consider Travelodge Mountainview again if we're in Kamloops again.
